NCFC, no, it was just a normal tour. The WGC events and the 4 majors will be considered invite only outside of playoff events. I'll have to check the schedule to see if there are anymore that qualify but for the most part, those will be the only ones.

I was wondering about the Masters in Augusta. Top so many on each moneylist? Would be something fun to watch during the months leading up to it

Yeah iv been wondering about this. For me the masters is the greatest event of the year and I don't want to miss out. Guess it will be down to money leaders as we currently don't have WGR.

The only thing with doing money is the pga purses are 2 to 3 times more than any other tour. Making a few cuts in the pga is probably close to what a euro tour player gets for winning a tourney

I think qualification requirements for the majors needs to be announced ASAP, so people know what is required of them to qualify well in advance, if left too late it will give players no time to adjust schedules etc to meet the requirements if they are good enough.

Running a qualifier for non tour members as well would be good to simulate the amateurs that get to play every year and also maybe get a few new members.
If staying true to real life and only allowing "amateurs" in this would shut out the champions and web.com which may create an outcry - but hey, it's an invitational...
Looking forward to open qualifying for the open and US open.

Hopefully Magnolia National and all of its pin positions is going to be used for the Master's Tournament.

There are still some details to work out, so I won't post specific numbers.
However, because there is not a "prior" season for which to account for many of the exemptions as in the real masters (ie, the previous tour championship qualifiers, US Am champ, British Am champ, etc etc etc), we will be getting a little creative this time around. Next season, we will have legit qualification standards based (mostly) on the real ones for each major and invitational tournament like the WGC events.
Masters qualification will involve some combination of:
Top ___ positions in WGR (which will be released in February) Top ___ Money List positions not already qualified on the Euro Tour Top ___ Money List positions not already qualified on the PGA Tour ___ # of exemptions for "amateurs" from the Web.com and Champions Tour (probably 10-15, but do not hold us to this) ___ # of "special exemptions" that will be handed out at the sole discretion of the Commissioner.
The Number of Masters invitations in real life rarely exceeds 100, and that's approximately how many will get invitations on TGCT, as well.
