I can’t take it anymore. No matter what I do with this game I just can’t figure it out. There have been times where I spend hours at a time at the practice range and can’t do sh!t. While I do still suck at putting, my issue is tempo. I mean, what feels like the EXACT same swing to me every single time has produced so many consecutive shots that go from perfect/perfect straight to fast/very slow. I just don’t know what to do.... it’s seriously mind-numbing to try and diagnose and fix it. So please, just give me a tip or two. Thanks in advance.
I should really be designing right now lol...

I find that if I pull back to the top of my swing and let go before I take my actual shot I only find minor tempo issues. Not sure if that translates over to PC or not, though.

This might sound ridiculous but it works for me in this game when my tempo is out a whack.

This is the only reason i don't play on the tours anymore. I can't stand the inconsistencies.

I’m with you pal. Have to say I simply don’t enjoy TGC2 anywhere near as much as V1. Sad too...really had fun on the tours. Now I don’t care if I play or not. Just frustrating knowing the ability to play the game varies so widely among folks.

I’m with you pal. Have to say I simply don’t enjoy TGC2 anywhere near as much as V1. Sad too...really had fun on the tours. Now I don’t care if I play or not. Just frustrating knowing the ability to play the game varies so widely among folks. I miss playing every week and just simply playing casual rounds all the time. It was one of my favourite things to do in my spare time, i loved it. I also enjoyed TGC1 a lot more and yes people can shout at me but its the truth. Despite this, TGC2 has a lot going for it, a lot that i enjoy. The customisation of clubs is one of my favourite parts. Luckily i have found another game that i have sunk hours of my life into the last 3 months. |

Join me in the player clubs revolution I’m having these problems even with player clubs. Of course I seem to have gotten worse going to tour and coming back but it still shows how bad I am. |

I played every week and enjoyed myself. I wish those days would come back for me.Those days are here for me now. I sincerely hope you find a way to get them back, because nothing beats that feeling! For reference, I'm using Tour clubs and play all tournaments per TST rules. I'm getting better, and a round under par is reason enough for me to pop open a frosty one and pat myself on the back. Competitive with the "big boys" is still far away, and may never come. That's okay. I'm having a blast!  |

Turn off shot feedback. It will make you better and the game is way more fun. Try it out.
