Pro Tour Players - Double Check What Tour You Are On!
If you were previously on the PGA or European Tour - look for an email telling you what tour you are on to start Season 4. It will be either the World Tour, PGA Tour or European Tour. We've changed the hierarchy of the tours to make them competitive for more users. You can also find out by viewing your Tour Profile from www.tgctours.comMandatory Tour Clubs for World Tour Only
Tour clubs are mandatory for the World Tour only (WGC and Major fields included). It will be policed much like our chipping on the greens policy (policed by members). If you see someone on the leaderboard that is using Player Clubs take a pic and email commish@tgctours.com and they will be removed. PGA, Euro, Web, CC-Pro, CC-Am members can use any club type they want. Demotion Strikes Cleared
Strikes were cleared to start Season 4 - clean slate for everyone! New Members: Q-School Registration is Now OpenYou can now sign up for Q-School events in Season 4. Q-School - Last week of Season 3If you participated in the final Q-School of Season 3 - we have now processed it and you should be in possession of your tour card. I had written to commish about strikes at end of season 3 requesting to be carried over. Are they going to be cleared anyway? Because I haven't heard anything back. Just don't want any surprises when season 4 starts.

Utter bullshit decision IMO and by the poll that was ran the majority of the players. Think this is the worst decision made by the powers and would think there'll be some walk aways over this

Tee off on Tour clubs in R1 2. R2-R4 - switch to Player Clubs 3. API only reports Tour clubs used (ie we can't police it via API) It's exploitable but can be policed by members on the highest tour - ie our most hard core users. |

Yeah its a ridiculous rule, and this will rapidly descend into a what clubs debate as per.
Enjoy the tours gents, feel free to give my PGA spot to the highest ranked Euro player.

Honestly, it should be any clubs, any tour. Let the elite rise to the top. The World Tour players, as good as they are, are going to use Tour Clubs anyway. Nobody will stand a chance with player clubs against the best of the best. So the rule enforcing Tour Clubs at the top is almost redundant and unnecessary.
As for everybody else, pretty much same thing. The better players will use Tour clubs to get the extra distance. The Player clubs guys will be left in the dust. The only line of demarcation is going to be between the tour club and player club players who are in the middle ground. There, it's a toss up who will come out on top. Might even be close to a 50/50 split.
Finally, a decision that makes sense rather than force players to use clubs they're not comfortable with.
I'll be using Tour Clubs because they're more challenging. And since I suck at this game anyway, doesn't really matter to me if they make me finish worse than had I used Player Clubs. Either way, I'm not winning anything.

Seeming most of the banned word chasers are on that tour I'm sure it would work. Chipping on greens was policed on every tour why can't use of clubs be policed? |
