It is a good little puttin warmup, the only problem i had with it' is it gives out HIO's too easily.I don't want to end up with tons of HIO's from puttin on my stats.Maybe you can change all the par limits to stop that.Maybe change them all to one as i don't mind hitting bogeys and pars on it.

would changing the Par to 1 actually stop that? Your still only using one stroke to get it in the hole. Can you change the Par to zero LOL

HIO stands for HOLE IN ONE... (obviously) So, if you hit it in the hole on your first shot, that would be a HIO. Whatever the par on the hole is... Even if it is par 1, or par 0, if you hit it in the hole on your first shot, it would be a HIO.

Yes, but a HIO on a Par 3 is also an Eagle, or on a par 4 an Albatros (doube Eagle?). So whats the difference? You still call it HIO. You cant redefine a HIO im afraid. HIO = HIO.

i know what you mean but a HIO on a Par 1 would have to be counted as a Par because the PAR OF THE HOLE IS 1.

I dont see the difference on making a HIO on a par 3 or 4 or 5. Do you call those Eagle, Albatross or Double Albatross, because the PAR OF THE HOLE IS 3,4 OR 5? I would certainly call it HIO, no matter what the par was...

if you actually go on one of the practice putting courses, it counts a HIO on a Par 1 as a PAR in the stats.
anyway that's it from me.

I think you are both correct. A par 1 hole in 1 stroke would be a hole-in-one and also par. What the game calls it you will have to check out. I would be surprised it allows you to make a par 1 hole because in golf if a shot is reachable in 1 stroke it would be considered a par 3. There are no par 1's or par 2's in golf unless you are talking about mini-golf and putting it through the pirate's mouth on hole 18. LOL

LOL LOL pirate's mouth. in all seriousness, i've played a practice putting course and one of the holes was a Par 1. I holed it and the game registered it as a Par (the 1 was grey on the scorecard)
