So how did you guys get your gaming name's.
I've been using mine, since 1999, actually JTRipper, but psn wouldn't let me use it as they said it was offensive, lol.
I've mainly played fps games like Delta Force, Call of Duty, Battlefield, & Counter Strike.

Yeah mine's pretty simple too. Been going by this since the days of Half Life deathmatch. 1998 ish? (That long? Jeeeeez!)
Initial. First part of surname. Geographical location
It has its downsides, mostly when people try to pronounce it as one word (shat-ook! Really?) but it's been me for so long that going by another handle would feel like a masquerade.

I created my handle when I was a member of the links tour. I used to have a bit of a rage problem on the course and thought a bent club would be a good visual to represent that. But I didn't like how BentDriver or BentThreeWood sounded, so I went with the third wood in my bag.

You know considering how much more successful we have been in recent years it is amazing the amount of people who first think of Notts County... Its also amazing the amount of people who think Newcastle United who I have to politely ask to put their glasses on

Silap refers to our 9 yo Alaskan Malamute Silap Inua. In Inuit mythology, Silap Inua ('possessor of spirit') or Silla ('breath, spirit') was, similar to mana or ether, the primary component of everything that exists; it is also the breath of life and the method of locomotion for any movement or change. Silla is believed to control everything that goes on in one's life. (well can't beat wikipedia now can I ) Here's one of my favourite pics of Sila and my wife, taken a few years back on a cold november day on a deserted beach.

burton31cat refers to my favorite Nascar driver who has since retired. It was Jeff Burton who drove for Roush Racing starting in 1996 then moved to RCR (Richard Childress Racing) in 2004 and when I set up a PSN gamertag he was driving for the #31 Caterpillar racing team hence the name but he retired at the end of the 2013 season. He drove part time in 2014 for 4 races.
