Name ID, down below, came from a favorite author (who recently passed) and in all his books the main character name was Mitch Rapp. The 29 is from Eric Dickerson, NFL - Rams.

There is no hidden meaning - I'm not a passionate fisherman who spends my time in The Florida Keys hunting Marlin (I wish)
I happened upon it by chance & it stuck
When I first got an xbox & needed a GamerTag I was assigned Sleeperpuddle08 - no I have no idea how I remember that either but I wanted to change it. Xbox used to do a thing on console where your avatar could play wheel of fortune with Gamertag names. After a while PointedMarlin came up & it's stuck with me ever since although my mates call me Marlin for short
I then transferred it over to Playstation as it was free on that console & that is the one I play The Golf Club on

I used this as my name on an old message board for High Heat, the PC baseball game. It had a nice sized community of modern and enthusiasts for a while there. I chose elguapo for the Red Sox pitcher Rich "el guapo" Garces, the rotund reliever himself. The 79 is just my birth year. That has pretty much stuck for my gaming related accounts, although I've used jeremyer for some things since. It was my nickname as a kid. Somehow it is the result of a particular Maine accent on "Jeremiah" (which isn't my name, just jeremy) -- and it got shortened to Myer.
We even named one of my boys Myer.
Ok, now you have three stories when you just wanted one.
