I think what scares people about the "Squad" and all the other new political figures, is that they are trying to change D.C. from the old white boy way of doing things. That is not a racist statement, it is fact

@stokeysteve When you rail on Ocasio-Cortez, you are railing against someone who is working to keep power from falling into the hands of corporations. Here's an exchange where she questions a representative from Libra - a cryptocurrency being hawked by Facebook, Uber, Spotify and other enormous corporations. The point of her questioning is that these corporations are not democratically elected. If they control the money, then the money is no longer controlled by a democratic entity, robbing the people of control. I thought "socialism" was the threat to democracy. Why are you tagging me in this? I'm an English labour voter, and I only vote for them because they are the lesser of 2 evils, if I vote green or liberal it's a wasted vote. |

But let's be clear here: if Mueller presented incontrovertible evidence that Trump had committed felonies, given US intel to our adversaries, laundered hundreds of millions of dollars illegally, and screwed two dozen under-aged hookers while his wife was pregnant, 99% of Republicans wouldn't give the hair on a rat's ass about it. On the contrary, they'd probably love him even more. Pathetic. |

US have already said they won’t help with the Gulf shipping lanes... we don’t have enough resources available ourselves to deal with it. So Boris will be turning to our European allies for help... 😂

nobody is saying we don't need co-operation with Europe on quite a number of things but that doesn't mean we have to be part of the EU to do this
