Watchers are the lads whom watch the leaderboard and play last minute so watchers is still a thing. Lurkers are the same as above but they scoure the forums for information. Waiters are dead now though that's the last minute posters. nantez88 I am right aren't I 😂. Remember people it was Nant that came up with the terms I just ran with it 👍🏻 |

Hello!! I'm brand new here!! Played TGC1 like mad and somehow never herd of TGCT until just recently!! I'm absolutely stoked to start Q school! I was hoping for an idea of where I stood? I'm T-96 thru 2 rounds of the exhibition event on PS4 at 11 under... any idea where that would stack up on the tours? Web level? Well bellow? I'm gonna play the crap outta what ever tour I make and look foward to advancing.... just generally courious if expecting to make the web tour outta the gate is realistic!!?? Thanks for the help!!

Hello!! I'm brand new here!! Played TGC1 like mad and somehow never herd of TGCT until just recently!! I'm absolutely stoked to start Q school! I was hoping for an idea of where I stood? I'm T-96 thru 2 rounds of the exhibition event on PS4 at 11 under... any idea where that would stack up on the tours? Web level? Well bellow? I'm gonna play the crap outta what ever tour I make and look foward to advancing.... just generally courious if expecting to make the web tour outta the gate is realistic!!?? Thanks for the help!! Hahahha yea I see it's getting intense.... I'm using player clubs at this time... but if going to tour is required so be it!! I'm just ready to try and get that first W!!

Again, I have completed q school during the end of the prior session on TGC1. I earned my tour card (Challenge Circuit E). This shows across the top when I log in: CONGRATS on earning your CC-E Tour card! Now go get Registered for the next event! I can register for events beyond the Exhibition tourney, just not for the Exhibition event. OK, I am going to let this go now. :-) See post above m8, you need q school first |

As for what clubs to use. Use the ones that you are comfortable with right now. No earthly idea how q-school is going to work as far as choice of player/standard or tour clubs.
If I were brand new to this right now. I would be playing with whatever clubs allowed me to get a feel for everything. You will need to get a feel for the effect of wind and lies on your ball trajectory, how to read greens, and all of that In the meantime do the q-school and start out wherever you land. If that is CC something great. As you work your way up, if you are using player clubs, and you are getting toward or in Web, you might want to practice using tour clubs on the side of your regular events. Because if you get good enough to get promoted from Web to PGA/Euro, then tour clubs are needed. Until then though do not worry about it.

Well that was a thoroughly demoralising first tournament.
I'm struggling to understand how i was practicing rounds close to par on very hard courses, to suddenly being hugely over par on what was described as an easy course.
Just the 50 over across the 4 rounds. That's bottom out of everybody who played on xbox.
Now, i was never expecting to be a challenger, but to see the leader sitting on -54 is a bit bewildering. How is anybody possibly making so few errors across 4 rounds?
I'll practice some more, but i can see me throwing the towel in after a few tournaments like that.
