Hi there, new to TGC Tours and excited to get my card. I'm playing in the exhibition events (no card, just playing along) and enjoying it. Question about auto scoring and tournament play: I notice that once the first round is over it goes straight into the second round. If I log out on the first tee of my second round but never take a shot, does that record my round? Can I log back in without starting my second round and start it later, or do we have to play out all four rounds in one sitting? You can start/stop at any point - mid round is fine too if you have to pick up and leave. The game will let you resume where you left off. Definitely don't have to do all 4 rounds in 1 sitting. Can I not register for the PGA event? I did the special event one but I didn't sign up for the other one. I know you normally couldn't sign up mid week for an event, just wondering if I can get in on this one. |

You should be auto registered for whatever tour's tournament that you already belong to. Look at "people left to play" in the leader board.

There was a mix up with getting my scores to post on the other tourney cause I was inactive and my gamer tag didn't match up. Maybe that's the problem. |

Doyley already got that fixed for that tourney. My scores are showing up now. I'm just wondering about the other tourney. Thx for the help though. |

You should be auto registered for whatever tour's tournament that you already belong to. Look at "people left to play" in the leader board. Ya I'm not registered. There was a mix up with getting my scores to post on the other tourney cause I was inactive and my gamer tag didn't match up. Maybe that's the problem. Seems to me (granted I have nothing official behind this) that in the events specific to one tour event that those that have been inactive are the ones experiencing issues. Glad there has been put forth a testing period, to be honest. Glad to have many players back! |

Overall I am delighted though great score mate fair play I bottled the front 9 of the 4th round with shite putting, but at least recovered enough to make a run at the guy I tied. Great shooting Bob. That one miss was a P/Fast shot into the drink on the 2nd hole of 72. Not at all irked by the fact that you called out the high % of results. The fact that this was a relatively easy course playing closer in (500 or so yards) from the tips made a big difference, IMO. |

You wouldn't have shot that well with player clubs pal. Easy course or not that is some great shooting 👍
Hell, I only hit 64% in the first round - made some epic mind farts throughout the tournament.

Hay Mike on PS4 back swing how do you know your dead center ? My 2nd round at Clearwater was awful I'm usually fairly good with swing tempo (player) but a lot of slow/slow, slow/fast, perfect/very fast and so on. Maby just a bad day. thanks, john of Z Basically a practice backswing with my thumb in a specific spot on the rear of the stick. Then I actually start barely let go repeat and rinse until it feels right then just go. If you have to perfect your grip and thumb position looking at the controller. I draw a mark on the center of the forward part of the thumstick and another on the controller in front of the thumstick. So I can eyeball it pretty good. Once I am satisfied with my grip producing centered backswings I usually no longer have to look just swing. But one out of every three feels wrong on the way back. If so let go. Don't swing. I played the Clearwater event on PS4 tonight. Only shot -26. Compared to about -34 on PC. But in the four rounds I had 2 quad bogies and 2 doubles. Eliminate those blow up holes and i am in the mid-30s which is probably decent for me at this point. Always takes about 3 rounds of golf to get the ps4 swing going. Because the PC swing being so different makes me forget how to do it. Once I get it back I probably only hit 1 maybe 2 out of the cone in 18. ![]()  Thanks, I'll keep this in mind. I was doing ok for a stretch and lost my tempo, just like the real world lol, see what happens today. |

I have a CC-E Tour card. So when I access the list of events for that, it shows the Exhibition tourney there. There is no hyperlink though to register. I am asking if I need to really register for this one (I know you do for regular events)? Again, I am not seeing a register link anywhere for the Exhibition Event. Maybe that is because I would have needed to register for it before it started? I am confused. It just show this: 44 8/07 - 8/12 Official CC-Am Exhibition Event Faxon Park
No "Register" link... Thanks To play in the exhibition, if you don't have a tour card, you need to register for the True Sim Tour. That in turn enables you to join and play in the TGCT Special Events Society (in game) and compete in the exhibition. Q School starts soon. OK... If you already have a card, just join the TGCT CC Society in game and play your rounds. Should be as simple as that. You should also be eligible to join the TGCT Special Events Society (in game again) and play that event too... If your card has lapsed, you'll likely need to do what I did, and register for TST (True Sim Tour). This will give you access to the TGCT Special Events Society exhibition event. NOTE: New members - If your scores do not show up on the TGCT website leaderboards, your lack of tour card is the issue and won't be fixed - You'll have to wait until they fire up for real, go through Q-School and get a card officially before it will work for you. Does that make sense? |
