You guys have covered my top3 somewhere in these lists. Not sure if these have been mentioned yet...not my top3, but definitely in my top10 so worth a mention:
Ferris Bueller's Day Off (classic 80s) The Emperor's New Groove (funniest animated movie) Idiocracy (stupid as hell, but some crazy funny scenes and lines)

Don't be a Menace to South Central Whilst Drinking Your Juice in the Hood
Kingpin
Planes, Trains and Automobiles
First two haven't aged well but staples of my youth.
Shout out to Best in Show, Airplane and multiple others.

Shout out to Best in Show, Airplane and multiple others. kingpin! great one. I'll have to rewatch but I remember that being really funny. Grosse Point Blank is underrated. love John Cusack (better off dead, say anything, one crazy summer, all worthy). In the super underrated category I would go with There Goes the Neighborhood with Jeff Daniels. Anybody else love that movie?

I will first say this is impossible as eras of comedy are very different.
1. Dumb and Dumber 2. Super Troopers 3. Anchorman

So many to choose from!
1. Withnail and I. My favourite film of ANY genre. So many quotes!
2. Top Secret. Vastly underated slapstick comedy. I once played cricket against the guy who got a bit of loving from the bull at the end. He was obviously not very happy that his acting career was defined by that scene! He proceeded to hit me all over the park (and everybody else for that matter) and scored a big 100. Apparently Val Kilmer almost drowned in that under water fight scene.
3. Hot Fuzz. You want to be a big cop in a small town? @!$# off to the model village!
So many others deserve a mention, a lot of them already have on this thread. Python, Spinal Tap, Blazing Saddles, loads of other classics. Some that I haven't seen mentioned, The Blues Brothers, Dr Strangelove, A Fish Called Wanda, Annie Hall. I'll stick with my top 3 though!
