What do you have in your TGC 2 golf bag.
I personally use player clubs with:
Driver
4 Wood
3 Hybrid
9-4 iron
PW
GW
SW
LW
Putter
As you can tell I really like my wedges.

I have the tour clubs and modelled it after my real life golf set:
Driver
3W
3 and 4 Hybrid
5 Iron- Pitching Wedge
Gap, Sand, Lob Wedge
And, of course, Putter.
Getting used to the game is really easy for me because the Tour distances are nearly identical to most of my real life distances.

Should be in the clubhouse section, not Off-Topic. Just my thoughts.. Doyley? I have been tinkering with the longer end of my clubs, but I wanted all 4 wedges from the get-go. Currently: Driver 3W 2 Hybrid 3 Iron, 5Iron - 9 Iron PW, GW, SW, LW Putter I am still undecided about that 3 iron. I also have carried the 4 hybrid instead in the recent past. |

Driver 3w 2h 4-9 Iron PW GW SW LW Putter Same setup here. I have thought to swap my 2H for a 3H for long par 3s. I am not keen at all on the 3I. The gap between the 2H and 4I is big, but would I regret the gap between the 3W and 3H if I were to switch?!? |

Same setup here. I have thought to swap my 2H for a 3H for long par 3s. I am not keen at all on the 3I. The gap between the 2H and 4I is big, but would I regret the gap between the 3W and 3H if I were to switch?!? I switched from the 3h to the 2h, but the gap from the 4i was a bit much so I'm going back. Delofting the 3w a bit will have to do for the gap between 3h and 3w. I think it will become important to tailor your clubs to the course, but I think for me it will just be switching between the 2 & 3h. Not giving up my gap wedge for anything. |

I don't like the hybrids too much, but I really like my 2I. No 3I is a little tricky, but I've been making it work in order to have my GW.

My stock set is Driver, 4W, 3H, 4Iron - Lob Wedge
Planning on tinkering with the top end of the bag depending on what course we'll be playing.
For instance, at Oakmont I'd swap the 4W for a 3W so I can reach the 8th |

For now I've kept it as is. |
