This is what I use now. There are times a 4i could be useful, but playing around with my bag a bit I found that 4i to be the least useful and least used club in my bag so it had to go I've kicked around using this setup, replacing the 2H with a 1I, adding the 3I and dropping the 4I. For now I've kept it as is. I felt that the 1i was very difficult to keep within the cone on anything other than flat lie.

Driver 3wood 3Hybrid 4-9iron Pw SW GW LW putter Have played this since day 1 and haven't been arsed changing it. Delighted with the hybrid and GW but have been caught out on the usual long ass par 3's the designers just love so much 😄

Like most here I've been playing with 4 wedges too, but I do find the gap somewhere at the top end a tough proposition - hard to fill with loft & swing control. So I've just started toying with a very bizarre setup...
Dr, 3W, 2H, 3i, 4i, 6i, 7i, 8i, 9i, PW, GW, SW, PW, Putter
The missing 5i leaves a gap from 179 to 205 - which so far I've been able to fill with loft/de-loft. How long it lasts I'm not sure!
But there's no way I'll have enough time (read: inclination) to assess courses before playing them, so I'm looking for a jack of all trades set. Maybe such a thing simply doesn't exist...

From reading these lists it would appear that not too many are Hybrid fans. I have three hybrids in my bag currently. Irons start with a 6i on down to 9i. Trying to decide if I should ditch a couple in favor of a 3i and 4i. Might help my rough/sand play, but honestly that has been decent for me so far..

I think it's because the hybrids run too much and are harder to control with loft/de-loft - the irons have that nice check on the green - if you're using tour clubs.
