Oh wow, damn... I didn't even think of that and that it probably could be different to TGC1. Well, knowing I can (again) use the right thumb makes me feel a bit more confident now I'll make it to CC-E at least.  |

Real quick guys. Daxon Blaze tried to help me today. Actually, he did help me. He made me realize exactly what's wrong with my game.
Nothing.
What's wrong is that I don't practice enough like I used to when I made it up to the pros (Web) in the first place. I'd play every tourney (practice tourneys) for days before the actual event. Hell, I used to set the practice tourneys up for other players. That's why I got as good as I had gotten. I'd play against Jimmy Kuo (I'd ghost him) and only lose by a stroke or two. That was when he was WGR of about 110 or so. If I had kept practicing that much throughout this whole time that he made it up to where he is now, I might now be top 100 or anything like that, but I'd sure as hell at least be making cuts here.
So the bottom line is simply that I have nobody to blame for my lousy golf but me.
I got bored with the game and stopped playing except for the actual events. You just can't do that and compete. At least I can't.
Hopefully, TGC 2 will spark some new life into me and I'll start really caring again and get serious about my game like I used to. Or I can continue to suck. But it's all on me.

Just by getting me to practice again (the same course over and over and over) you made me realize what my problem is. Like I said, it's all on me. |

TGC 2 can't come out quick enough. This game in it's current format ran it's course about a year ago

Ladies & Gents, I hope everyone is well.
Like many it seems, I feel I exhausted myself with TGC1 and got to a point where I felt that it became more scientific than the art that golf should be and the enjoyability waned a bit. That said, I cannot bloody wait for TGC2 and a fresh challenge. Should be a blast.
Just a quick question as I haven't been able to find it browsing the forum posts on TGC2. When are we able to register for the W42 event? Or is that not yet open?
Thanks in advance and I look forward to dueling with you all again.

I went and preordered it yesterday at Best Buy. I had a gift card with $25 on it. Apparently there was actually 42$ on it. Score!

Got my email from amazon last week saying my order has been processed and should receive my tgc 2 disc on 6/27/17. Can't wait to see how this plays out compared to tgc 1 which was fun to play. The admins are doing a super job keeping this forum top notch.
