This community certainly is good the only other one I know that can compare is the Elite Dangerous community. Lots of relevant stuff on both and plenty of help for new players. This is the first online community I belong to. Never did any of this back to TW08 pc game, which was great. The game I mean lol. So this is all a new experience for me. |

Thanks to all of you that gave your time and effort so we hacks and pros alike had something to look forward to every week. Your help and dedication to this game and its players has been OUTSTANDING! Thank you again and I sure hope TGC 2 works well for this tour and all the people associated with it.

This site is awesome, the best run online gaming experience I've seen (by a longshot). Admins, schedulers, volunteers, etc... you guys are all legends, thanks for devoting so much of your time!

I want to thank Maximum Games for not getting back to me regarding a podcast for TGC members to answer questions about TGC 2.
It's good to know how much Maximum Games values all of us as customers and dedicated fans of the game.
Your showing that you really care about all of us puts you on par with games giants like Electronic Arts.

I'm sure it could be arranged. You just stream your rounds and I watch. We would still need a platform of communication other than the chat on stream.  I'll help however I can in the new game. Let me know. Dax. I have no idea how to stream my rounds. Platform of communication? I have nothing installed on my game PC. I don't even have Skype anymore because it kept crashing on me and was a PITA to use. Plus, I've forgotten my login anyway. Like I said, the best way to help me is for somebody to sit in the seat next to me and show me what I'm doing wrong. Short of that, I don't know how streaming my rounds is going to pinpoint my mechanical problems in how I hold and manipulate my controls. I mean it's not like you're going to be able to see my hands. I played a match with somebody once on Steam. I watched his shots and how great they were. I had no idea how he did it and his trying to explain didn't help. My problem comes down to putting, period. I have 2 methods. Both get me close. But it's those inches that I keep missing by that are the difference between my making and missing cuts. The rest of it, I can deal with. I know the wind. I know the elevations. I know how far each club goes with adjustments. I have trouble with recognizing ball lies but that's because of my bad eyes and nothing anybody can teach me is going to fix how I can't see the lie. Truth is, I don't see any way, short of somebody sitting next to me (and even that is no guarantee) and pointing out what I'm doing wrong. If you want, show me what I have to do to stream a round. I'll put it up somewhere. You can watch it in your spare time and, if possible, try to point out what I'm doing wrong. If I have to take notes of how I went about calculating and approaching each shot, I'll do it. It'll take forever to finish a hole, having to write all that down what's going on in my head, but I'll do it. Honestly, I don't think it'll matter. But I'm offering. |
