Don't forget about coriolis effect lads it plays a big factor in side wind, plus you must factor in the time dilation, speed of the golf ball and the pull/force from gravity as the ball flies through the air. You must also account the dimple ratio by counting the number of dimples on the golf ball multiply by pi and divide by 1000. After that the games still pretty fun 😂

Wow After reading all this I'm more confused than ever. If you have a 10 mile an hour head wind do you add 10 yards to your shot? If it's a 10 mile an hour tail wind do you minus 10 yards?

In TGC2 every club has a different reaction to wind because you are hitting it higher or lower in the air. Headwind and tailwinds aren't interchangeable either. Headwind affects the ball more than tailwind. Also, if you are hitting to a downhill location wind affects it more because the ball is in the air longer. Good luck!

So no LOL I've noticed it's impossible to get a simple answer in here. This isn't rocket science, it's a video game. Why does everyone over complicate everything?

All the factors I mentioned above are in play and I forgot to mention that adding or taking away loft affects it, too. I'm not trying to be coy or vague or anything. It is just not a simple equation that you can use universally.

I want to add something. If you have a perfect cross wind 3o’clock to 9 o’clock and adjust your marker to the right to play the wind you are adding head wind from the angle change and need to adjust your distance longer. The math is difficult to calculate and I just use it to get in the ballpark and the rest is just feel. Conversely, you can aim left and the ball will travel further. Math will only get you so far, thousands of shots will fill in the rest.#miiniclicks

In real life you throw a piece of grass in the wind and see where it goes. You can look at the tops of trees too. Not an exact science there and it shouldn't be here either if you want to keep it realistic.
Just estimate and adjust as needed. It's part of what makes this game realistic, although frustrating. But golf is a frustrating sport, even for the best of the best. Just ask Sergio Garcia.
