Had a great time playing 4 ball with the family. I used my stats, the wife was on medium level and the kids full. My 9 year old was winning until the 8th. We were playing slots and she got the hidden power marker, had a stinker and ended up last. The wife won and was the only one under par. Great fun. Sounds great. I'm actually talking to the missus about this game. She saw me playing and thinks she wants to give it a shot. She won't touch TGC because she sees how crazy mad I get sometimes when playing. I will let her win on EG for a week at least. LOL I've played against her twice and shes won both times. I didnt have a choice! |

Kind of surprised everyone is so positive about this game. Yeah, it's fun to play, but it has some MASSIVE problems that cannot be ignored. Namely: - Completely unbalanced multiplayer online tournaments. One character might drive the ball 320 on average, another guy can't break 200 because he hasn't grinded for 20 hours yet. - 5 or 6 courses plus a couple more as purchasable DLC? I've had the game for a few days and feel like I've played the same course dozens of times. - Very long and arduous grinding process to build up a character even remotely capable of competing online. Dozens and dozens of hours to unlock premium clubs and courses. - Micro transactions. Easily the most gaping flaw of all. Online play will inevitably devolve into an arms race of players using $$$ to obtain and upgrade the best equipment. YUCK. sounds like a tiger woods games ( same course dozens of times ) ( grinding process to build up a character ) ( dozens and dozens of hours to unlock preium clubs and courses ) thats what i got away from. |

Saying that i do like the idea of incorporating it in my name somehow... Need something that can work across all games.....Everybody's Golf, the new COD etc etc |

How do you perform these backspin and topspin? Tried everything, but nothing works. I tried to hold down the downbutton on de dpad and release it before third click, not working, tried to do it on the third click...not working...driving me mad. I saw streams and it worked for others...what the hell am I doing wrong? Also these super spin whith swerve not working for me. Am I doing something wrong?

Backspin = pressing up when you set power and pressing down when you set the impact. Topspin = pressing down when setting power and then pressing up when you set impact. You have to unlock these. Can't remember at what point, though. The backspin one is first, I do remember that. One is called a homing shot and I forget the other. There is also side spin shots as well. |

Yeah bobs right I find it easier to just hold down till you select power then up at impact. Homing shot is up and down and a rising shot is down and up. You unlock them around rank 3 then there is a spiral shot that is right then left I'm yet too get the trophy for that beaut the others are class when you pull them off |

Aw ok, that make sense. I reached rank 2 today. Love the game though...I heard they are going to implent more online gamemodes up to 100 players. Cant wait for that. Hope some more courses 2.

Just got to Rank 5 and am at Level 21 of fishing. I see there are 2 fishing spots at your home. 1 of the areas (pond) has 1 mystery fish and the one out on the ocean has 2. Anybody caught any of these mystery 3? Also how do you fish on the courses? I see it looks like you can but nobody is working the desk.
