I have two waypoints on par 4's on my course that gave the player a driver off the tee when they really should be given a 5 wood, as this would be a much more natural starting club for the hole. I have moved the waypoint on both of those holes, but no matter where I put them (I've even gone as far back as 185 from the tee), it has only dropped the starting club to a 3 wood. Any tips?

Just heard from Griff that you can try a red fuzzy brush and flatten (just one click) on where the original landing point was. Could try that...

I can't seem to grab a waypoint to move it in TGC2 designer... any tips? I tried for a few mins and couldnt find it. I just deleted the hole and created it again and moving the waypoint where I wanted it. I'd like to think there's an easier way.

Theyre hard to grab - have to zoom in and out a few times until it "grabs" so to speak, then click move, then waypoint, takes a little patience.

Actually to be able to move the waypoint, you need some autogen fairway. What I do is:
Increase the width of the fairway With the cursor over some autogen fairway, click move-waypoint Move the waypoint Decrease the fairway width
Very friendly and operating

On the first couple holes I just used what titaneddie suggested and deleted the hole, then added a new hole onto the previously laid textures to position the waypoint exactly where I wanted it. Now I don't even create holes until after the hole is done, if that makes sense. I use the measuring tool to plan all of my surfaces, then I lay all of the textures, I finish the design of the hole completely, and then I create the hole officially by placing the tee on the forward tee (because that's the game's default tee position 1), I position the waypoint exactly where I want it (correct aim and club choice), and then put the pin where I want pin position 1. That way the hole is set up exactly the way I want it and there's no longer a need to move the waypoint later. I'd love to make a stream of my process for people but I don't know how. Haha

Here are some pictures of what I was talking about above. In the foreground are holes 16, 17, and 18. The sixteenth is a par 3, and you can see the planning marks and the laid textures. Hole 17 is planned out, including where the fairways starts, where the landing area is, and how wide the fairway and green will be (doing this helps me to have very consistent sizes), but no textures laid yet. Hole 18 is only basically routed, just to give me an idea of where I want it. As you can see from the holes in the background, once the textures are finished I then add the hole. This has worked SO much better than trying to adjust waypoints after-the-fact. As long as you're properly planning with the measurement tool, you should be fine. (No, I'm not using snow for my rough, I just make the first cut white when I'm designing the layout to make it easier to see. Once I start sculpting I pick the color I want for all my textures and then change the lighting a bit, which makes it easier to see the slopes and undulations of the terrain). Let me know if you have any tips I can try in the designer. I'm always willing to learn. titaneddie is the one who originally got me thinking about putting the hole down after the textures are done. That has worked great for me!
