Tgc2 may cause my point to be moot, but the current rules are that at the end of the season, the top 10 webbers are automatically promoted out of the web and into their choice of PGA or Euro. Of course they can then petition the admins to be lowered back to web after missing a number of cuts. Just a point of clarity for members that were unaware of this.

Wags, I just feel of all the possible examples you could have used, that's pretty close to being the worst. You've written your remarks on a public forum, I've commented on it. Sometimes, it's best not to do your dirty washing in public. If you have a problem with member(s) of the community, why not just pm them instead?

I never mentioned this person by name if you look at the original thread. I made a general statement that there were people in Web that didn't belong there. This person then went and attacked me assuming I was talking about him. That's when HE made it personal. Guess what? Sometimes it's NOT my fault. Sometimes other people act like ass holes. And I'm sick and tired of being the forum punching bag. So this is it. I'm done. Don't bother responding. I won't be returning to this thread. And yes boffo I mean it. $10 says I'm done with this one and I'll even PM you my Paypal account email if you're up for the bet.. In fact, I am seriously considering making this the last post I make outside of the Ranger's threads. I am so fed up with this place you have no idea. So by all means guys, go pile it on as much as you want. I won't be back here.

Lol @wagtunes, how many times have I heard that before? Seriously man, you have a way with words! Pointless telling you to chill out because I've tried that before, but do you not see how drama seems to follow you around? It's a game, a bit of fun, and if anyone is properly sandbagging they get moved up by the Admins whether they like it or not. Let them deal with it and enjoy your game! Personally I don't know why you wouldn't want to compete in the top tours if you get the chance but that's just me, others see it differently and that's fine too.

I just checked 3 randon names out of last 2 weeks top 10. 1 was clearly not a sandbagger. An other person had 4 top 5's in the last 5 weeks including a win. The other person made 33% percent of the cuts this season before demoting himself to web.com. Had had 4 top 10's including 2 wins.
I see @wagtunes point. Winning on web.com should be an automatic promotion to web/euro... Everyone should play at their own skill level against players on that skill level.

Well i have zero wins and 2 top 10s 2 more top 25s. He thinks im dominating. I already listed my last 6 pga events on another thread. Im in no way a world beater.
Not to mention i came from cc-d last yr and only got to spend a month on web before receiving the very last card at the yr end tourney. And got that on a technicality because someone backed out. So I honestly have zero remorse for playing on the web. I feel its where i belong and where I want to be. So until an admin tells me I have to go back to pga then this is where you will find me.
Taking wags exemptions as often as possible

In this case it probably would have been best to just email the commish and ask why the rule is what it is. This isn't a case of anyone exploiting a loophole in the rules. This is something specifically mentioned in the rules as being totally OK to do.

I sandbag in real life during weekend tournies that end up as drunken fiascos where I wake up either in the clubhouse or on the green of 9. This apply here?

I've been here a year and as far as I know the rule has always been you can stay in Web if you want to. You'll have to ask the big wigs why they chose to allow it that way only for the one tour, but if that's always been the rule and people have always been choosing to exercise that rule I don't see why it's suddenly a big problem now. I've ghosted a few players multiple times since I've been in Web who are regular fixtures in the top 10 and I can't say I've been troubled by it. If nothing else it gives you a bar to shoot for each week. Plus for someone who keeps saying they have no interest in ever making it to PGA it seems so weird that you keep complaing about people who are doing things that are making it harder for you to ever get to the PGA. Maybe it's time for a rules change. The Web tour was never designed to be a "final destination" tour for any player. If there's a loophole in the rules allowing some people to do that, then that loophole needs to be closed.

If there's a loophole in the rules allowing some people to do that, then that loophole needs to be closed. It's not really a loophole when it specifically states in the rules "If you earn a Sponsor's Exemption on the Web.com Tour, using that exemption for a PGA or Euro event is optional."
