I haven't made a complete study but one Web member has had 4 straight exemptions that he let expire. He's dominating the top 12 week after week.
Now imagine this. 12 guys in Web who dominate week after week decide they don't want to play in the PGA either. So they just let their exemptions expire and dominate the top 12 week after week, effectively locking everyone else out.
Now, I know what the reply is going to be.
"You want an exemption, play better."
Well it works both ways folks. These people getting their exemptions week after week should play better in PGA in order to make their cuts. They shouldn't be allowed to come back down to Web and lock everybody else out of an exemption slot.
The end result is that everybody else gets frustrated and quits because people who don't belong in their tier get to play in their tier.
If this is allowed to go on, why bother having tiers at all? Let's just put the whole community in one tier and let them go at it.
See how long this place lasts.
This is just one of the many reasons I am so fed up with this game.

The rules are cut and dry. You are in no way required to use exemptions. I am a web player. I have a right to use or piss on my exemptions.
4 top 12s and no wins. No top 5s.
6 straight weeks of mc and placing no better then 60 something.
Your mad because why? Im clearly not good wnough to be a pga player. Im in no way dominating the webs. Why cant you just be happy playing and wory about yourself instead of others.
Typical of this day in age. You cant have it so you dont want anyone to have it. Instead of blaming everyone else, worry about yourself and do what needs to be done to get you to the level you want to be at. I do nit want to be at the pga level. So i have worked my way to where i belong. Dont forget, i started in cc-d less then a year ago.

I've been here a year and as far as I know the rule has always been you can stay in Web if you want to. You'll have to ask the big wigs why they chose to allow it that way only for the one tour, but if that's always been the rule and people have always been choosing to exercise that rule I don't see why it's suddenly a big problem now. I've ghosted a few players multiple times since I've been in Web who are regular fixtures in the top 10 and I can't say I've been troubled by it. If nothing else it gives you a bar to shoot for each week.
Plus for someone who keeps saying they have no interest in ever making it to PGA it seems so weird that you keep complaing about people who are doing things that are making it harder for you to ever get to the PGA.

I've been here a year and as far as I know the rule has always been you can stay in Web if you want to. You'll have to ask the big wigs why they chose to allow it that way only for the one tour, but if that's always been the rule and people have always been choosing to exercise that rule I don't see why it's suddenly a big problem now. I've ghosted a few players multiple times since I've been in Web who are regular fixtures in the top 10 and I can't say I've been troubled by it. If nothing else it gives you a bar to shoot for each week. Plus for someone who keeps saying they have no interest in ever making it to PGA it seems so weird that you keep complaing about people who are doing things that are making it harder for you to ever get to the PGA. It's the principle. If you read 99% of my rants here, most are on principle. Like I said, I play this game now to have something to do during lunch. I really don't care about the tour anymore. Ironically, since not caring, I'm playing my best golf. There's no more pressure, nerves or anything. I just pull back the joy stick and swing. It''s become mindless for me. That's how little I care personally. But when I see people doing this, on principle, it pisses me off to no end. Again, imagine if 12 guys decided they all wanted to stay in Web and every week they were the same 12 guys in the exemption slots. Nobody would ever make it up to PGA EVER. I'm sorry, to me, it's wrong. And regardless of whether or not it's a "rule" it will always be wrong to me. Slavery was legal for countless years. But it was wrong too. Just because something is a rule doesn't mean it's right. |

If you can explain how 0 wins 2 top 10s and 2 top 25s is dominating then i will self promote to PGA. Its that simple. Make a case for why a cc-d player last yr who has made one cut at the pga level and has zero wins at web,cc-a,or b.
So its in your court. Explain to me why my record upsets you?

Wags you really need to relax and take the game for what it is, a game..you have over 4000 posts many of which are rants and self contradicting messages...a player should be allowed to play where he/she is most comfortable and if that player were to win every week then the matter would get taken out of their hands...i myself have passed over many exemptions, i have had several top 10 finishes but also many missed cuts, if i were to take a promotion to the PGA, i would miss most cuts, get bored and be back in WEB next season, so whats the point...just relax although this is a golfing community, it's still just a game.
