Can anybody recommend some great YouTube resources for learning how to do fences and retaining walls?
I'm currently building a Harvest themed course and I would love to add a wooden rail fence along the side where I intend to have OB, but I fought with that for over an hour last night and gave up because lining up the pieces was infuriating (and if there is any slope on the ground, it seems that they will never line up).
Likewise, on my signature par 3 I intend to have a retaining wall around the green because there's a small pond in front, but I've never even tried a retaining wall yet (similar to Sawgrass style). Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks everyone!

Here's scarpacci 's retaining walls: I'll be back with a fence video in just a second.

Don't have a video, but the key to fences on slopes is short sections of fence and tall posts. You unfortunately cannot angle the rails so you have to always step down the fencing. If you place a long rail and none of the posts rise to meet it, shorten your length and try again.
I also recommend working down the hill, not up the hill.

Thanks guys, great tips. I was able to make a wall around my pond after watching that video, and the tip about starting the fences going down hill was very helpful, too! I appreciate it.
I am totally new to course design. I put about 30 hours into my first one and published it before watching any tutorials. It's just okay, but certainly not good (although decently fun to play and very pretty). It's called Sylvan Bayou Golf Club. But that one was really just so I could start to get used to all of the tools. I didn't mess with any detail features in that very much, and my slopping, bunkering, waypoints, plantings, and detail work is now getting a lot better after watching hours of videos. Haha!
I've watched all of CrazyCanuck's tutorial series, but if there are other series people recommend I'm always willing to check them out.
Thanks!

I've watched all of CrazyCanuck's tutorial series, but if there are other series people recommend I'm always willing to check them out. Definitely watch scampi's and scarpacci's. You should be able to find both in threads under tips and tricks, although you may need to do some digging since they're older tutorials.

This might be of some use. Link to Scampi's list of tutorials from HBS forum.
