I won't be able to submit my course to the database or create a thread for the course, but I've published my contribution to the contest. It's my first course using a flat canvas. Enjoy
Silent Ivy Hotel, Nattavaara, SE
At least I think I named it that. Wish I had a day or two to finish up some extras, but it is what it is.

I was able to play this course prepublish, so I feel I should describe it. This is a tru mrooola course. he gives you options every hole, you wanna it driver its gonna be tight, 3 wood is the play. its a little softer than id hoped but you wanna go for the pin, you better be correct or you will find your ball rolling to no end. I have said it before you and DoubtfulObelisk are my favorite green designers. always give an option to the pin, just figure out the puzzle. Another top notch course ola, as is expected now. not my favorite only cause I have a tour win on Cul De Sac, but damn good my friend!!! hope to see you in the next round

At least someone has played it I actually went away from the soft greens for a medium setup. It's not much tougher though so a soft setup will be in the mix should this be picked up for a tour event at some point.

This is the second course of the contest that I got the chance to play, in fact I think I may have been the very first to post a score. It probably wasn't a very good score but if I was the first one...well, I have that going for me.
These flatter courses are a bit more work for us that don't use the shot preview but I don't remember seeing any blind tee shots or anything bad at all for that matter. Missed a bunch of fairways but the greens were great to putt on. Top notch effort all around and a solid contender for the trophy. I gave it a 9.5 only because the cart path texture was a bit distracting to me, other that that the course was simply gorgeous. Bravo!

I see how the flatter courses can cause you some headache playing without the approach cam. There are a few smi-blind tee shots that can be tricky with the aids off. I guess they require a bit more knowledge of the course than others. Hope it didn't cause you too much trouble. That cart path will be something many will struggle with. I switched from Harvest to Boreal late in the design and wanted to add some colour. I like how it looks, but also know that most hate it.

Got back around to playing this one this evening. Overall, I dug the look of the course. Kind of felt like some of the boreal woodsland I see when I visit my brother-in-law up in the U.P. of Michigan. Enjoyed the rugged look of the course too. Gave the feel that not a lot of earth was moved to create it (though I imagine there was). Cart path color I can take or leave, but worth taking a gamble on. I may have to give the beta a spin again to see if some of the pins moved or not. Some of them seemed a bit dodgier than I remembered, but that might just be my imagination. Not very forgiving course in that aspect as slight misplays are punished, especially around the green. Then again, seems like someone lent me Griff's putter because I'm just not making anything as of late . The par 5s offer a respite, as evidenced that I played the set in 5-under, and the rest of the course in plus-2 for a ho-hum 69. Did get myself into this funky little spot on 16, though I managed to get up and down for par: Overall, though, its a solid track. Good luck on your side of the draw!

I would like to start off by saying I don't think you will win, but it has nothing to do with your course...it's because you're from Sweden. That being said, I thought this course was really well done. The red cart paths are always a decision that can be a bit dicey, but I thought the course looked and played pretty great. A couple of the greens were almost at the point of being a bit too harsh, but as a whole I think this course was pretty successful. Good luck, Ola!

Loved the planting looks and views on alot the holes. The scenic terrain was very nice. Played very challenging this time around as I just wanted to hack it around. Ended up on the bad side of most of the green slopes. I thought a few of the greens were overly large...8 sticks out since I trickled onto it. Only thing I really didn't like just cuz it stands out so bad was the red cartpath burning my retinas. I think when I blink I can still see it. Great look...need to study greens b4 hitting. You should do well in your bracket.

I didn't mind the red cart path, even though it does appear awfully bright on PS4. I didn't really like the first hole - wasn't a fan of the sharp 90 degree turn the fairway took, and I didn't like the small pond hazard on the right side. I didn't like the retaining wall on 15 (?) because it didn't really fit in. There were lots of small lakes but only this section had a retaining wall. It was well done, but felt out of place. And there was one rock that just encroached a little bit into some light rough adjacent to the fairway.
Other than those minor complaints, I thought the course was brilliant. The planting around the water hazards looked wild and natural. The course layout was excellent where laying back 20 yards was a solid play often, and the greens required either accurate approaches, precise putting, or both.

Ola, because I'm oblivious, I just noticed this is your course. Props on an excellent effort, best of luck in the final rounds! Also, everything Matt Berninger does is amazing, so you get double props for the name.
