And this is the dodgy email by the looks of it. Either way I can't sign in now and it's saying my email id doesn't exist? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

You said you can't log in on your phone, what about the PlayStation itself? Always possible it's a phishing email trying to get you to click on somethingLike Ola said, getting on to Sony as fast possible if you can't get on with the ps4, your bank also.

Cheers man can't sign in on my playstation either it is definitely hacked and says the information is not valid, unfortunately Sony's helpline is closed so I will ring the bank

Yep agreed, probably phishing - email addresses are easy to spoof. Just don't click links in any suspect emails, always navigate to the site yourself and login. Edit: damn, sorry man Good luck getting it recovered.

No worries buddy I knew straight away it was dodgy as firstly I never changed my pin and saw the unofficial logos and all. I didn't click the link anyway, thank God

Rang the bank and cancelled my card anyway, so this is a heads up to all the guys and girls on playstation to look out. Does this mean my whole email is in breach too? Sorry this is all new to me, not used to hacking ( unless it's on the golf club)

If your email account password is the same as psn password, then change, same for anything that uses the same mail, password combo. Maybe virus check computer, not up to date on phones and there security. You have done the most important thing though with the bank. A pain yes but vital, again, sorry this has happened.

Email is fake, look at the email address. Can tell that's fake just by looking at it.
If given them any details phone Sony and explain situation. Cancel any cards on PSN account

Ah no worries man thanks for the help, a major pain is right. I'm just baffled to how it has happened, I only turned on my playstation after 3 months of not playing, just to play my rounds last week and this happens

These situations are nearly always user error through a key stroking virus or casualness I'd agree with this, most times it's user ignorance that's exploited by these kinds of phishing mails and some are very clever. Just hope Nantez didn't follow a link in the first mail that said the account was changed and entered his login details from there. Having said that Sony have been the victims of some pretty damning hacks and all sorts of data was stolen so you never know it could be their end but I'm sure it would be big news if so. This type of thing happens all the time but these big companies don't release the facts all the time as it's bad for business. Edit Pretty interesting read here nantez88 sounds very similar to your situation. www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/my-playstation-account-was-hacked-and-i-had-to-pay/
