Be careful, unfortunately you can't see anymore what happened to me when I made a mistake with a comment like that.... Unfortunately if we matched the theme to the event name every week, I think we'd have too many countryside, boreal and rustic courses, ignoring the other themes. To include other great courses, quite a few of these won't match up. Would be my guess anyways. Right, that makes sense, but you could easily have a countryside, boreal or rustic course in KY and I wouldn't bat an eye. Desert or tropic just don't jive well, at least for the KY I've driven through. And I know it really doesn't matter one way or another (it's just a fake tournament name) but it's those small details that really can take it over the top. Euro tour's in the tropics this week

Euro tour's in the tropics this week As Seth Pointed out it makes alot of the themes redundant if I(we) select the most accurate theme each week, Tropical would never be used Delta would be used maybe twice a year Winter would never be used Swiss would be used maybe twice a year Dessert or Desert half a dozen times tops. Harvest only for a couple of events in Autumn Highlands would even be hit badly basically 85-90% of the tour would be countryside/borel and rustic

The Breakers course could easily be in Montauk, NY, area, Florida panhandle or coastal Carolina's/Florida. Highlands could fit nearly anywhere really, don't see how that one's a problem at all. You don't have to change the courses, just change the tournament names/locals, they aren't real anyway so we should be playing the Arizona Diamond course in Phoenix or Nevada or New Mexico.....not KY. Just my opinion. And desert could just completely go away altogether, hate that theme.

Personally, I can tell you we're playing at Saxony GC next week, I have no idea what the tournament is called! You can play the Welsh Open on the Moon for all I care, as long as it's a good golf course.
Looking forward to the challenge next week - I have yet to play a Highlands course on TGCT. I think the last one I played was the Father Ted one (Craggy Island, for those poor people who have never had the pleasure) when I first bought this game.

You have some valid points Royce but as you don't seem aware 50% of the tournaments are real as per the Web.com tour that we are based off some aren't but changing tournament names is painful. Maybe something we can look into for the others next season. It took alot of work for the first ever Watchers Championship to come to light!

Okay I didn't realize some tournaments were actual web.com events (pretty cool......don't follow that tour at all IRL). And as giraffe said I'm sure the majority of people don't care one way or another where the tournament is virtually located vs what type of course it's played on. But for me I submitted my course to the web.com tour Midwest Classic event, because you know Bloomfield Hills is in the midwest and it would just feel odd playing a parkland course in the "Prickly Cactus Desert Lovers Classic", but any tournament would work since it doesn't matter.

Watcher of the Watcher's Report 39 Hours Remaining
With 42 Watchers and the usual uncountable amount of Lurkers still to finish the first 2 rounds the Watchersafezone still sits at -12 for the next hour probably. -11 is 98% up 7% nearly over the line Wh0amiagan , Andrea 's mate , Hootbleet and @terry Grayson. Finally, after two straight weeks of missing the cut, I'm all but in. Not playing those last two rounds in a tourney really is a letdown. Now to break the top 50!

I demand all new hybrid themes! Think of the possibilities, Winter/Desert, Tropical/Highlands, Boreal/Delta and just for Mr. Ola Rural/Autumn! Oh my head is spinning.
