Well so far I have created a total of 115 bunkers thru 8 holes on the new design I'm building so I ask the question, how many bunkers are too many and how many are preferable to you guys ?

*shrug* - as long as it's realistic I'm fine with whatever for bunkers.
I find some courses seem to just be all bunker bound to look good but they are just extraneous for me.
I'm trying to dial back the bunkering on mine now. Especially the bunkers with big fingers all over. they are cool and look neat...but are they necessary or realistic for the kind of course you're creating? If so...use em.. if not? Don't force them in. Use more normal looking shapes.

Hazards or obstacles that are neither bunkers nor water are, to me, the most interesting thing that you can create. They take a lot of thought, playtesting, and creativity, though. Think mounds, grass bunkers, slopes, rough patches or natural areas, etc.

I think it depends on the course and what you want. Some courses with alot of bunkers are fantastic but a course can be just as good with minimal bunkering. I think it goes more to overall course continuity.

Windsong Shores Golf Sanitarium has ZERO BUNKERS, and zero water Hazzards.
It depends on the course, and the architect and layout.
