Well. This week I feel like I've made my worst tournament in my career around here. Or at least the one that has left me with the worst feelings. Now it's in my hands, I just can improve in terms of consistency in my rounds. Too many up and downs.
The score? -16 for the tournament. An specially disgusting -4 for the weekend. At least I can forget about standings for a week, take my strike and kick everybody's asses in magnolia.
Good luck for the week guys

I did it pretty good in practice all the weekend, I hope I can keep the rythm in the tournament.

The other week I was 2nd on Web after two rounds at -22. Ended the event on -24 after two rounds on -1. Last week I shot 59 69 in the first two rounds.. consistency is what is lacking for most of us.

Don't see a CC-E thread but thought i would post in here.
Just finished my four rounds and managed -18 and I'm coming away feeling very disappointed. Made a complete mess of some of the easier holes ( the first par 5 for example, think I went +1 over the four rounds )
Left some easy putts out there too. Don't think that will be good enough to make a move up for next week but at least it's progress I suppose.

What were the winds like for the 4 rounds? Any tough ones?

Well, I just finished my last practice rounds shooting best ever 31 under. Round 4, with the 12 to 14 mph winds I shot 4 under. Shot 11 under round 3. Not sure how I pulled that off. Early returns in C class look like 20-24 under to avoid a strike. I'll know after another 15 golfers post their scores. If that holds up, I'm pretty sure I can keep my head above the strike line this week. I don't normally do well on this course (averaging between 14 and 21 under) so I'm cautiously optimistic as I'm very erratic on this course for some reason.

First time I'm not having any fun at all playing one of your CC courses btw. I've heard this is a real life recreation but to my modest opinion seems like other than greens the course didn't receive so much attention design-wise. Maybe that's just me...

It's not my favorite either and some of the pin positions in the later rounds are a little weird but I've learned how to play it and barring nerves should do well on it. If I can't shoot 20 under then it's all on me. No excuses.

I'm in A but can totally empathize with your feelings here. Feeling totally demoralized at the moment and don't even want to play next week. It will pass but right now just not feeling it. My worst here was in June right after an update to the swing which I couldn't grasp, took too much aggression to swing the stick and I was all over the place. Tournament was on The Homestead, finished dead last on the leader board. But here is my disaster from this week. I'm starting to get to the "all I can do is laugh about it mode" Yesterday, I was less than optimistic lol That -11 was 5 minutes before I started the actual tournament lol Well. That has happened always in my game. The tour is, no matter what, somewhere between five and ten shots worse than the practice (for the four rounds). Now I feel a much better player than I used to, so that handicap that I have seems to be slowing down my progression. But not demoralized at all

Well I finally made it outta E ladies and gents! I've developed a don't give AF attitude and It's gotten me to C in two weeks..figure that one out. I'm going in this week with no practice and a care free attitude. I'll post my scores when Im finished (probably end of the week). Good to be up here with familiar faces and out of the basement haha

I broke my controller over the front 9 of the 4th round. was able to go -22 over the first 3 and now it's just completely fallen apart for me. I'm sitting on #10 with about a 10 ft putt for bogey and I'm +1. I hate this game sometimes. I swear I about broke my hand when I hit my coffee table after EVERY SINGLE first putt lipped out or was short by less than an inch.
Oh. And I don't use maths or anything like that... I go on feel alone. IMO, I feel that if I have to do that to even compete then I shouldn't be competing.
