Hey all! I figured all start this as I didn't see one up already. I haven't played it yet but I'll get some rounds in tonight. Man I was nervous this weekend and decided to practice my putting. Probably played about 20 rounds all together and I believe my putting has gotten worse. Wasn't I relieved to see that someone has posted a -13 for round one. Why am I relieved you ask? Because there is no way in my wildest dreams that I can shoot that well. So now the pressures off! I can go and shoot without any grief, maybe try for a top 25 spot. Who knows, maybe with no pressure I can shoot well enough for top ten haha. Only time will tell. By the way how about these new guys starting up and shooting lights out! Good luck everyone

I originally estimated that it would take 20 under to finish in the top 50% of this tournament.
After seeing the early returns (I think there is enough data to call it) I'm estimating 16 to 20 under will get you into the top 50% and avoid getting a demotion strike in moving month if you're in Class E.
That is all. Anything else I say at this point is only going to start a riot.
Good luck.

Shame my putting has gone south, can't hit a fairway let alone a green and there is a -13 on the first round scoreboard. This is tournament computerised golf people. Let's go to work!

Gentlemen,
I have finished my tournament rounds. Had ups and downs, I tried to change my putting strategy while playing the tournament. I don't know if this was a good idea. I had some great shots (a greater 200 yards eagle) and some bad shots (I guess I had two double bogeys). So here are my results:
#1 - 67 #2 - 64 #3 - 64 #4 - 66
This is my best score ever, but I do not think that it will be enough for my third extemption. But let's see what you guys are doing. I do not like those "easy" courses where you have to play for birdie each hole. But I gave my best to do so.
As always have fun out there.

Played my first round to hopefully get the nerves out. Shot 7 under. If I can keep that up, should be good enough to avoid a demotion strike.

Caught fire in round 2 with a 62 for 11 under. We'll see how that stacks up in a few days.

So wags, I took a page out of your book; stopped at my local store and picked up a new controller after work. Now there's no excuse except user error haha. Great job round two, keep killin' it! I'll post my scores as I finish them.

Well it was what I thought, human error. Couldn't drop a birdie putt until 8. Then decided subconsciously not to do a full swing twice on 10. Went fishing for my ball twice and end up with a triple. Bogies on 12 and 14. Birdied out the last three holes to finish even. Nice start to exemption month haha.

Round 3- couldn't buy a birdie. The first 6 holes I peppered flag and left so many putts short, then dropped a shot, managed a couple of birdies, then hole 11.....god I hate that hole. Recovered for a tame -2. Leaving final round for later if I shoot -8 might get an exemption.

My 4 rounds
Round 1 – 66 Round 2 – 62 Round 3 – 67 Round 4 – 64
33 under.
Round 4 was the most insane round of virtual golf I've ever experienced.
The pressure was really getting to me and I couldn't drive the ball straight as a result. I was 2 under through the front 9 and going nowhere fast.
Then the magic struck.
I birdied 6 out of the next 9 holes which included an ace (yes, an ace) on the infamous hole 11. Don't ask me how I did it because I couldn't tell you.
According to my calculations, an average score of a little better than 8 under per round will probably land me close to the top 10 but not in it. I'm guessing around 15th to 20th place when the dust settles.
All I care about is that I avoided a demotion strike based on the scores so far out of 45 first round players having posted.
