Skipped the Watchersday Lunchtime report as they were all still watching . So. Watchersday Eveningish Report!!!! There has been some movement and not just my bowels for the first time since Monday. #Breadisthedevil Some lunatic broke 60 and posted a -13 59 first round Mr. John Cauthen who has only made 1 cut this season which was last week. Now there's a spike in form and a course record I think. This of course raises the tide of the Watchers up but not to much as many have fallen shy of the -10 mark. 76% shot up 6% for the -11 club Id say they are comfortably safe at this stage. 48% shot up 3% I think for the -10 club of 15. With 21 watchers still out there and 2 on advanced scores she will be a tight one tonight.

Ouch. That -13 was an unnecessary development in my day!

Currently there are 2 players at -9 after 1 round and one other sitting at -6 after the first. Assuming all three make it to -11, that means six of the 17 (or more) players yet to tee off (or just submit scores) need to reach -11 to knock out the huge group sitting at -10.

I have already have those 3 down as dead certs to pass -10 and there are a few seasoned watchers on the board that will enter there rounds late in the day. The group on -10 might just about make it due to the difficulty of the course for scoring, I'm sure 1 or 2 lurkers will appear out of nowhere near the deadline and inflict their damage. In fact they are probably salivating in the bushes with the thoughts of taking out that group on -10 that includes the watch master himself Moe Slorkman

One little notch on the firmness or speed takes them from what they are now to way too easy. This is completely true. There are only 3 green firmness settings: Soft, Medium, Firm. The difference between Medium and Firm is tremendous. Could you explain this to me? Are you talking about when you set up a tournament (never tried that), because in my course designer for PC it does not work like.

I am happy playing a course that makes it difficult to score really low and in my practice rounds I had trouble shooting better than -4. Each of my two first rounds had it's difficulties and especially front nine in round 2 tested my patience with nine straight pars where the ball just would not stay on green on the approach shots. On the back nine all the clouds disappeared and the sky was blue with 7 birdies, so much to my own surprise I am in a decent position and making the cut.
Round 2 I had our leading player Greg Bryant as a ghost player and his fantastic 9 under 27 front nine did not excactly make it easier to cope with my even par 36. Brilliant to watch Greg and good luck keeping up shots like your eagle shot on the the tough 4th hole.

No record of anyone shooting 59 in round 1 now. It's like it never happened.

I clicked into his scorecard after seeing Moe's report and it only showed round 1 and it was a 65 or something, it must have been a mistaken entry or something.
