Well gang..I'm currently sitting in the final exemption spot in last week's tourny..but I'll open this one up for the boys...doubt I'll hang on to 10th. I've found myself being a bit too generous when it comes to my spoiler threads....been paying more attention to my surroundings (wind speeds) than the actual rounds themselves. So I tuned out this week and just played my game. Sorry if anyone is expecting winds because I didn't even mark them down..just remember they were low until the final round. Here's hoping I hang on to my exemption spot and this score is enough to finally earn myself my permanent CC-C card 59*-61-68-68
-32
* my first sub 60 round in tournament play
edit: I fell to 11th...no exemption for me

Well done Jim on the 59. I'm in same boat as you in 5th and last place for exemption up to Web from A And only 1 person who can displace me he's only entered 2 rounds and is a newbie. 61 62 60 & 64 for me for -41 that last round will sort the men from the boys with the winds on the front 9 in particular brutal

Oh well...hope the -32 at least gets me another finish around the top 10. I expect some really low scores.

Already played my first round.
Despite the score is not spectacular (65) I'm pretty satisfied by a couple of reasons. In first place, for most of the round, the putter has been my best friend, which is unusual in my play, and I hope it starts to be something usual. The second reason for my satisfaction was the good amount of shots i landed in the good place of the green. In the whole round I only had a couple of sidebreakers.
I made a couple of silly bogeys, but not related to bad play, just poor tee shots. Nothing really scary.
Already played rounds 2 and 3. Ended both with an aggregate of -15, which gives me a nice starting point for the 4th round of -22. As long as the game continues like it's now, I think I can be pretty close to -30, which I think would be my best ever score for a tournament

Well, my goal (in Class E) was to shoot 10 under for the tournament. I calculated that this would be good enough to make top 70. Well, I made my goal after round 1 shooting a 62. Wait until you see my 30 yard pitch for a birdie on 16. LOL. I lucked out on a lot of bad drives towards the end when nerves started getting to me. I'll probably just play one more round today and finish up tomorrow. My goal is still the same. Make top 70 and avoid a strike.

Just completed round 2 at 9 under. So that's 19 under for 2 rounds. I think my top 70 goal is pretty safe unless E Class suddenly does a dramatic improvement on this course.
Anyway, done for the day. Will finish the last 2 rounds tomorrow.

Unhappy with my 3rd and 4th rounds after jumping out of the gates with a 59 and 61...never did quite get a handle on the Red set up in my practice rounds and it carried on to the tournament

I expect a lot of low scores too. But I've been down in E Class long enough now to see how things play out. 30 under is probably going to, at minimum, make top 30 and erase any strikes. I see an outside shot at an exemption into D class with 30 under. Most likely, without seeing any scores posted at all, it'll be good for 15th through 20th. I'll have a better handle on it Monday after the first 25 to 30 players enter their scores.

I've played it for fun btw so you can ignore my score on the PS4 leaderboard. Quality little course, some nice approaches. Good luck all!

Truth is, I'm not that good at this game. I've improved but I miss too many putts under 10 ft and miss too many fairways forcing me to scramble so often. If I'm shooting 19 under after 2 rounds there's a good chance that there's going to be 20 to 25 people minimum doing that well or better. To get sponsor's exemption I'd have to make the top 10 and I just don't see that happening when my best finish was like 27th or so. But, we'll see. Just not getting my hopes up. Besides, why would I even want to be in D Class? I'd only end up back in E after 3 weeks. I'm comfortable where I am and content to stay here.

I got my first exemption, tried D for one week and I lost even my shoes. No worries, like a month later, here I am. If you're improving, sooner or later you'll get it. And actually, in challenge circuit the flight is not very significant. You have to play the same course in the same conditions. Play it well, or as well as you can. In the moment of playing your rounds, nothing changes
