I went and played his ghost ball on PS4 and his putting is what makes him the machine. Makes everything and they always go in the centre. Exactly correct. Ian's putting ability is second to none. When he NEEDS to make a putt it invariably is slotted into the hole, regardless of distance, slope, contour, elevation etc etc 95% +++ of the time ☑️. Unfortunately for the rest of us the same abilities and stats apply to the rest of the game. I am one of the lucky sufferers who gets to play with him regularly. Ian's mindset is also excellent. We can all learn from that ! Humphreys is another toe rag aswell. The last sentence was for the benefit of those who would jump on the look at the lick ass Pugs bandwagon. Not so, just plain truth. Roll on Ian.......... ok ok,,,, roll on Tom too ?

Roll on Ian.......... ok ok,,,, roll on Tom too ? One more thing I wanna add on the matter, then I'll stop "OT-ing". How many times do we hear TOP guys complaining about "greens are too firm" - "there are too many trees on the path to the hole" - "lofting is unrealistic"? I'm throwing a clue: NONE Because instead of continuously complaining about everything (with all due respect to who complains) and asking the devs to change this and that (bugs excluded of course), they try to figure out how to tackle sh%$. They play and play and play until a) they find a key to the "problem"; or b) they blow it up for the week..no big deal - it's a videogame after all. If something as limited as videogame beats us (intelligent human beings capable of adapting at almost anything) an the only answer we have, the only mindset we're in, is complaining towards who made the game....oh boy we are screwed

How I'd sum Sweeney up is as follows.. His putting is certainly second to none.. But his all round game is very strong! If he's having an off round he can still accumulate a very good score! Only a handful of players are capable of doing that I'd say! but as being no.1 would suggest Ian does it that bit more consistently.. His distance control is also exceptional! I play rounds with this gooner frequently and he's worthy of the nickname i gave him! MACHINE! If I had his b game I'd b thrilled I'm off now to get my money from Sweeney for posting this but I'll not hold my breath! He's learnt from Wenger! Spend nothing!!

Poor argument Andrea. If it was medium firmness I would have still missed the cut but I wouldn't have complained. Not about winning for me, sure it's a bonus and is love to win but it's about playing golf and enjoying it. When your ball has no control after it bounces it shows the conditions are too firm. A possible good golf course destroyed due to poor ground staff :-p

Let me know Andrea next time you want to preach to us. I'd like a seat on the first row.
Normally I don't respond to posts like yours but I will make an exception this time.
The Golf Club bills itself as a true sim. It is NOT a true sim if people can loft up to ridiculous yardages. No one accused Ian or anyone else of anything as he, along with Bradley and a few others are in a class all to themselves. ( in fact I enjoy playing his ghost and others as well) We were voicing our displeasure of the conditions this week being not fun. I believe that we are entitled to our opinion.

Let me know Andrea next time you want to preach to us. I'd like a seat on the first row. Bit unnecessary. What Andrea said certainly wasn't any more preachy than "I have played 'real golf' probably longer than many of you have been alive and it doesn't cross my mind to loft a 3 iron up to 147 yds. This is not in the spirit of the great game of golf." You are entitled to your opinion. Andrea is entitled to be of the opinion you're wrong. On a more general note, this Locker Room thread is 7 pages long and at least 5 pages of it is whining about the course, the game or the weather. Getting a bit dull tbh

In the interest purely of balance and fair play it should be noted that tonyreddevil clearly has a vested interest in praising the world No 1, that being, the anticipation of financial reward and belated acceptance into the Gooner fraternity. Rest assured neither will ever happen. On another positive note rumours have it that Tom Humphrey's is a babe magnet, though leaked head shots from Scotland Yard suggest otherwise. Detective N Allen concurs. Final word of hope to my fellow golfing sufferers, the machine can be beaten. All you have to do is partner up with red devil and challenge the machine to a 4 ball with any partner of his choosing. Next, via subversive suggestive psychology make the machine think HE has opted for an ugly Canadian partner with a sh@t sense of humour AND DIRECTION. Next let the devil loose talking sh@t and being a distraction to the machine from the bunkers for 18 holes. Next, preplan dinner time for the ugly Canadian such that he goes off mic mid round to focus on stuffing his buccal cavity rather than the golf hole. Finally, when nobody is looking, slot a putt from 16ft around the moon left to right 3" down across the green to win the match on the 18th, by just one up! It's important not to be greedy and to always be modest. Just sayin'' . Hope for us all ?

For the first time in TGC Tours history - we're going to play the same course back to back in successive weeks!! It's a new feature that automatically kicks in when the Locker Room thread reaches 7 pages (mean's it's really popular). Probably should have saved that announcement for April 1st, but figured why wait!
