69-69-69-66. -15. Too many wasted shots playing frustrated golf and had several holes with poor flops or chips rolled back to me. Started the week as a fan of the course, ended the final round heading out of the clubhouse screaming never to return!

Where do I start this week!? let's start with my score 68 67 72 68 (-13) First off I didn't practice enough from the Friday pins on so I didn't help my own cause right from the off..I feel the design of Rivington was well constructed to a degree, however some of the pins I came across from Friday onwards were to say the least ridiculous imo. Not all were like this but quite a number were..I love the challenge of a tough course but theres a line that gets crossed with certain pin placements on the odd occssion..I can see why some pins were placed in such crazy spots..to shield and minimize any attempt at birdie..hence keep the scoring down.. And boy I think the designer achieved this on the whole As someone has already stated, the player who has a hot chipping game in this tourney will probably fair the best.. I got frustrated with this set up in the 3rd rd n literally was just whacking the ball in front of me to get the tourney finished..needless to say I didn't particularly enjoy it.. I'm not a fan of a setup that defends birdies to the point its near impossible to leave yourself a putt at a birdie on some of the holes.. There was a number of pins like this in this tourney.. Overall didn't play well enough and despite the setup I should have scored better than I did..Goodluck to all yet to complete or start there rounds and very well done to those of you setting the early pace

Started the week as a fan of the course, ended the final round heading out of the clubhouse screaming never to return! I think its a fantastic course but those firm greens in rounds 1 and 2 and some of the pin positions across all 4 rounds were just driving me crazy. I had a chip for eagle horseshoe round the hole during one of my rounds and the ball then run right back off the front of the green and another approach shot landed 15ft past the hole and span back what must have been more than 50ft, again ending up back off the front of the green. On the first two days especially there is very often no real reward for hitting the green as you're better off leaving a chip or flop than a long putt.

That was my issue as well. I like a challenging course but there were a good number of holes were there is no way to actually make a birdie unless you chip/flop the ball in.

First round I got sick of chipping from the backs of greens I even under clubbed a couple of times and still ran through to the back and that carried on until, about half way through the second round by which time I gave up on the tournament. I'm not going to bore anyone with my scores but they're not pretty especially the second round. I'm feeling a bit jaded with the game at the minute, I've played it solidly since release day on two tours and I'm thinking of taking some time away from it. Will see how my next couple of tournaments go before making a decision to have a rest.

62-63-60-63 for -40
Missed a few makeable putts as per usual but had 3 unlikely hole outs to make up for it.
Overall pretty happy, and really enjoyed the course.

Infuriating!!! I'm not one who thinks every hole should offer up a birdie but jeez... When it's more beneficial to miss the green than to dart your ball within a foot of the pin happens again and again there's something wrong. As you've probably guessed, I'm not a fan of marble madness. Next....

As you've probably guessed, I'm not a fan of marble madness. Next.... I had a quick go on next weeks' course earlier today - same again with the greens. Ridiculous in my opinion. The only people it even slightly benefits are the "lofters", and the sooner HB do something about that, the better. Hopefully we'll get some better courses soon...

last two pin sets were medium firmness this week. Won't be medium firmness every week on tour. Won't be firm every week on tour. Not much more I can say on the matter.

IMO it's the same for everyone, so...
Wasn't all THAT long ago that we'd have the whole wind-wait issue... now that was super lame.
