Q-School attempts to place players in tours/flights based on six consecutive rounds of golf. Six rounds aren't enough to properly sort out all players. So, in that respect, you are right. The mechanic that promotes and denotes players over several tournaments works better. Do you really want to have to play 3-4 tournaments and THEN start playing tournaments that count?
Q-School does a pretty good job, considering the small sample size of golf rounds, of slotting players. I landed in CC-A and placed in the middle of the pack my first few events. Then I got hot and earned an exemption to Web, and played well to earn my Web card. Now I'm fighting to make cuts.
In your case, wags, you got slotted for CC-D. Sure, you may feel you were placed too high, and you might be right. Maybe you had a better than expected performance in Q-school. In your case, your slotting is dictated by your tournament performances and the promotion/demotion mechanics.
If you feel you should be in CC-Z, your performance will get you there. It might take you longer to end up where you feel you have a chance - and that happens.
Still, it isn't cool to criticize the folks who are dedicating their own time to support this fantastic community by saying the evaluation process is terrible and needs fixing NOW. Because really, it's just fine. It works pretty well and gets new members into tours quickly.
Again, just remember, proper evaluation takes weeks or months. That isn't really feasible for Q-School. New players would quit before they started.

New players would quit before they started. Mroola asked me to let people know that I read what they posted in response to me so I am responding as a courtesy. I have apologized for my behavior. I'm not sure what else I can do. I'd like to just drop this but that is probably not going t be possible so I will take whatever criticism comes my way from this point on. Again, I am sorry. Not sure what else I can say. FTR, I just completed the test Q School and shot +4 which would earn me Web.com card. I can't help but find that amusing as I'm struggling just to keep out of being dropped into Z Class.

Real quick, the new 6 courses being tested are easier than the current/old 6 q school courses. Cant exactly compare one to another.

That's why we need people to play it so we can adjust the sorting. Looks like it's playing 30-40 shots easier from what I've seen so far. Hoping more guys from cc post - especially the ones that just finished qschool December

I really enjoyed the original Q-school. Some great courses in there.

Only just managed to fit in this weeks tourney. Played all 4 rounds this afternoon

There's no way I could compete there as I'm a mid tier E player. You'll definitely need to adjust the placings. 35 shots off sounds about right.

I'm barely hanging onto E Class by a thread. I still don't believe Q School is an accurate measure of one's class placement. But, I guess it's better than nothing. Moot point for me since I don't have to do Q School again anyway, and even if I could, putting me in C would be a waste of time. I'd just end up back in E within 6 to 8 weeks.

C sounds pretty reasonable. I feel like I can hang in the bottom third of that group, when I compare scores each week. Gives a little room to improve too. Doesn't seem out of whack now.
