Well boys....my lackluster play continues. Cold putter once again. I think I had 10 1 foot putts in the 1st round. Just can't seem to get anything going from round to round. Shot my lowest round on the toughest setup..go figure.
Go get 'em...this one is gonna burn the scorecard...I predict -45 for the D winner.
Winds:
Your usual highs/lows ebbs/flows
8-16mph 4-10mph 4-10mph 8-15mph
65-65-62-65
-27
hope it gets me a top 50 at least.

scores won't be as high as first thought. We were supposed to get 2 rounds on the white Tees but only got the one

Powderfinger G.C. (Prosim Whites) Powderfinger G.C. Powderfinger G.C. (blue tee pin a) Powderfinger G.C.I should have been at least -10 to -12 on my 1st round...can't believe how many putts I had that just burned the edge. That will cost me a top 25. Still say someone in D goes low...very low.

Good luck all!

Jim what did you end up shooting at Denali? I sure thought me and you were gonna get hot and go on a run together. Then Denali came along and crushed our dreams. I shot my worst score of my tourney career on Sunday and cost myself a shot at back to back tourneys.

I shot my worst score of my tourney career on Sunday and cost myself a shot at back to back tourneys. I didn't do too well at Denali either. In a bit of a slump since my win in the Cracked Open. Shot -11 total for Denali...should get me a top 50 once all the scores are in...but nowhere near where I wanted to be. Not good at Powderfinger either. I just can't seem to get warmed up..and when I do...its usually too late. I did shoot a 62 this week on the hardest of the 3 set ups at Powderfinger...so I can take that away as a personal victory I guess. With your win last week...and your top 10 this week you're gonna gain your permanent CC-A card.....awesome news. Congrats.

Well, maybe I need to just give up this game. Supposedly, this course is so easy that everybody is going to smoke it a 17 under. In my warmup practice round I shot par. I don't shoot any better on this course than I did on Canuck's from last week that everybody was b%&ing about. I don't find this course any easier or harder for that matter.
Anyway, not really looking forward to this week and being the only one not to break par with all those 17 unders floating around.
Yeah, time to take up horseshoes or something.

Okay, what are you guys trying to be funny? I just gave the pin A setup a shot and after going +3 through 5 or 6 holes and missing an 8 ft putt that ended up going all the way down the hill afterwards, I quit. I was probably heading for an easy 8 over par that round.
Easy course? Is this some kind of an inside joke that I'm not getting? I shot +1 at Denali. It'll be a major miracle if I get anywhere near that at this course.
Maybe I should just withdraw now and forget about it.

Think I shot a -34 on that after shooting +10 at Denali last week

Not trying to poke fun in any way...but I think this is one of the easiest courses we've ever seen in CC. I was WAY off on my game and still shot -27...that should say something. Someone is gonna card 4 rounds in the high 50's low 60's in CC-D....this isn't an overly tough trek

as my friends are here and I miss the promotion to CC-D @ Denali finishing 14th (2 strokes under the 9th place), I just let you know that I finished my 4 rounds with a final -24 (64 - 64 - 65 - 67) with a poor 4th round where the ball was never falling in the cup...anyway I'm fine with the final score. This will be my last 2015 CC tournament, from tomorrow I'll move to TST Tour that during the last few days gave me a very nice feeling, a different game where the math is less importand and you have to really think before starting every single hole. Within the first week of 2016 I will decide if the TST will be my full time tournament !
Take care and see you soon Roberto

In fact, A few hours ago I tackled pin A again and used every ounce of concentration as if my life depending on it and only shot 3 over. That's worse than any of my 4 rounds at Denali. Anyway, I'm going to start playing the tour tonight and see how I do but I am not holding my breath on this one.

Not sure if i will be on CC-D or CC-C this week, but feel i have let it slip either way. 5 lip outs in 6 holes in round 2, and then a genuinely poor front 9 on round 4 means a 60, 62, 61, 65... 36 under which could so easily have been 43 under. Just waiting for someone to come on and admit they were 50 under.....Again enjoyed it though, this golf stuff is fun!

Hey Wag, you mentioned an 8ft putt that ran all the way down the hill? are you adjusting the yellow putter marker, as i have putted like that a lot and only just found out about that and am now practicing and it might help you with your downhill putts?
