Well boys...the Swedish berries are ripe for the picking in this one. Fresh off my abysmal showing in the Saskatchewan...I was outa the gate running. Too bad I'm not a marathon runner...strong start...horrible finish.
Oh...hang on to your knickers in the 4th round...she's a wee bit windy.
Winds:
4-8mph 8-12mph 4-8mph 12-18mph usual ebbs and flows
61-64-66-69
-28
don't think it's gonna be good enough to erase that DQ strike...yet again.
Good Luck Gang!!

I expect CC-D winner to be -40 to -44. My -28 should land me somewhere between 40-50th overall in CC-D. People are gonna rip this course apart.

If people are starting to hit -40's in 'D' then I think I will give up as there is no way I can live with those scores and then I'll just practice on the courses that are chosen for the tourney's.

I think with the auto drops in between seasons its going to take a few more weeks to get everyone settled into a more permanent position. Then the cream will rise to the top and us lower guys can compete for wins!

It's all just a matter of time. If the winds get up at Valgrind..it will quickly separate the men from the boys.

Surprisingly the wind in the last round of Vallentuna didnt do me in, wound up with a -8 for that round, which could have been a -10 if I didn't throw it in the water on that short par 4, my natural slice hit me at the worst possible time when I was trying to go for the green off the tee and aiming right.
OT a bit:
Just tried to do a round on Valgrind and it ground me a new one by the 5'th hole. Can't seem to get my rhythm today, one round of True Sim today ripped me another, I'm becoming perforated from all these new orifices I'm getting today.

Thanks, couldn't figure out how you saw my 59. All this time I had never loaded up the tournament after I've played and looked at the leaderboard.
Kind of pissed off with my 2'nd round of 68. In practice I shot a -14 (58) once or twice and a few -12's. I went into this knowing I wont do that good, but wanted to shoot -10 across the board. Just couldn't get anything going in that second round. All in all though a better turn out for me that I have been doing lately.

I wanted to get through this tournament at my average per practice round. Didn't happen. I think my worst round in practice was a -8 and I was average -9 to - 11 in every imaginable wind. I just can't get in the groove in the tournaments. Thought I could at least put up a mid -30's. Lost my mojo after that DQ. As it looks right now -28 might not even get me a top 50. Guys in CC-Z are throwing up mid -20's to -30's totals

After the first round, looking at the leaderboard, I had to double check that I was still in D. The amount of sub 60 rounds, I have to pick up my game a bit as I only shot 63.
Well, pick up I did. 2nd round of 59. Now I just hope this form continues.

I thought I was going to make a run this week. Lots of practice, but in the end I think I choked my last round. Started the first 6 holes at -6. But made two major putting mistakes and had two more lip out. finished 61 61 59 62 for -45 total. I think the winner will hit -50. Amazing scores in D.

I don't know about anyone else..but I'm ready to see some tougher courses. I haven't been keeping up in my scoring(no fault but my own)..but I think tougher courses and a bit more wind will settle these scores in the lower tiers. Approaching -50 in CC-D and CC-E is just stupid.

I did a quick play through with no math and not taking time on putts and shot a -7 on next weeks course. It looks super hard with narrow fairways but with low wind and smart shot selection I think it too will be around a -10- -12 round course for the top level guys.

My second weekend on CC-D was not a good one. Well, it started off good, nice conditions. Result: 66 - 65 (Obviously not good enough, but hey, it's something!) Then came the weekend. I felt like Dustin Johnson.I finished 3rd round with a disappointing 67, had a very bad day on the greens. Finally sunday came, with 17-20MPH winds. I've hit everything except the fairways: trees, houses, water, bunkers LOTS OF BUNKERS etc.. Finished at par, 72 Total -18. Valgrind, please be good.
