I blame the residual effects of my weekend in Las Vegas for my poor 4 rounds today. I should have stopped playing after two rounds but in the Vegas spirit I just kept on losing. LOL

Well done lads, some really good scores posted on what I thought was a tough test. I was grinding out a decent round 1 until I somehow found myself plugged in the bunker on 17. I got out but left myself above the hole and then five putts later I walked off with an 8 fuming, birdied 18 to post -2. I had a better time second round and shot -8 to get to -10 which will hopefully be enough to make the cut. Played the final 2 rounds just to get them out of the way and shot 70, 67 to finish -17 total. Happy enough with the course anyway and was much more enjoyable than last weeks even thoughsome of those pins are tough and I had my first snowman on tour. Best of luck to the rest of you guys.

Played my rounds and cannot be happier, on the average were much better than I was doing in practice. -5 (67) -9 (62) -4 (68) -8 (64) -26 total On the 72nd hole, knew I needed a birdie to get to the top score on the forums so far. Saw Heman's ghost bounce in front of and then over the bunkers and onto the green and stupidly figured to try the same thing... and of course I end up in the bunker. Watched Heman chip it in for eagle and needed the up and down... somehow flopped it about 2 yards past the hole and spun back for eagle, sheer luck! Hoping that might pass for top 5 this week with Jared and the rest up in the Pros. Surprised that there's only 5 players on xbox so far that have played the tourney.
Yeah, that was crazy. When I saw my drive coming down I thought, plugged in the sand, gotta save par. I don't think I have ever seen a ball jump over a bunker like that since I have been playing. The chip in was just icing. Complete luck but I will take it. Nice score BTW.
Thanks. I just ride on your guys coat tails... I'm sure I would lose a few strokes if I didn't follow your ghosts. Your first round was especially good.

1st round -4 2nd round -7 3rd round +7 (lol) 4th round -2
I don't have enough words to describe how much I hated this course. Some of those pins were just flat out mean. I just started to go through the motions hoping I'd make the cut and earn some points/money. Man that course was awful.

Haha soooo many putts! Especially on 12 or 13 maybe (the par 4 after the par 5) and 17! I believe I took a triple and a quad on those holes.. Had an eagle during the round too lol! I'm terrible at super fast and severe breaking greens.

Due to a busy weekend went into this tour with no practice rounds... not the smartest idea as I was +1 after 4 ha.
Scratched out at 67 though in round 1 which I think is respectable considering I had never seen this course... jury is still out on the course though, as with last week, not a fan of courses that aren't really realistic. Although I do like a course that presents a challenge with no hazards.

Lol! Oh damn my bad! Instead of hate this course I very much dislike it's firmness and tight pins

I wanted to make those Sunday pins tough for you guys but combine that with 16 mph winds and that's just brutal. Good luck everyone! (Muahaha) After reading that ^^^^ I'm glad I won't make the cut Scrambled my way to a 70 & 71 for the 1st 2 rounds & never play 3 & 4 until I know my fate. Way out of my depth on the Web tour having won a card through the Challenge Circuit Championship. Congratz to whoever tames this beast & takes home the bacon!

No matter what it threw at me, I really did like this course. Hard as heck to play out of the heavy rough all the time, but a good test of short game. I had mentioned I was only -3 to start, which just killed some good momentum I had from practice rounds. Some shots you just get a wrong squirt and you're in the rough...then you're boned approaching some of these greens with no ability to spin the ball. Unfortunately after a -10 start in the first 2 rounds, I was only able to grind out 7 more strokes for -17 total. A decent showing all-in-all, but right from the get-go I knew I was going to be out of contention. Some great play to get it up to the high -20's this week fellas.

-1 followed by a -4 under for -5 total. hopefully that will be enough to make the cut. The hole on the greens seemed to be cut on a ridge, making it tough to get the ball to the hole without it rolling another 8-10 feet by it hit a little too hard. I had a couple squirts that took me from a would be birdie to bogey because I was short sided.
Got it going the 3rd round and shot -8 and on the 4th shot -5. While missing 3 easy putts the hit the cup and lipped out in the 4th. Like I said hopefully I make the cut at -5, and my -18 would be good enough for a top 30.

I agree, I enjoyed this as well. The way I see it is we are now in a "professional" tour, no more CC tour. We should be tested by the course each week. Not everyone will like every course, that is the way it goes. If a course doesn't suite your eye one particular week, move on to the next week. The good thing about Web is you get to hang in there a full season so just be patient. I don't think anyone should expect to play well every week.
