You performed well Andrea and possibly a top 10 finish. You can't always post amazing scores for 4 consecutive rounds. Thanks man. This course really got into my head on the last 2 rounds. It ruined my day yesterday - I couldn't get my mood back; I was mentally drained. Half day off from digital golf and I already feel better. I'm gonna clear my mind today too and come back tomorrow on the new course BTW if I finish 6th just an inch away from an exemption I'm gonna hate myself XD

Don't worry... the season is still young!

Yeah, I'm in 6th with the others. I'm actually quite pleased I didn't get an exemption and unlike last year it was never really on my mind. I'm not ready to go up. I'm exceeding my expectations already by finishing top 10. Top 25 was my aim. I just hope I can have more weeks like this. Unlucky Andrea if your aim was exemption. You missed by 2 shots. Better luck next week.

I didn't even realise there were exemptions from web.com upwards... Why did the top 5 last week not use them?

I didn't even realise there were exemptions from web.com upwards... Why did the top 5 last week not use them? Once you've found out that you've achieved top 5 for the exemption, the time has already expired to register for the next PGA / Euro tournament. This forces web.com players to play another week on web.com before using the exemption on week 3. Anyone that was top 5 for two weeks in a row like our winner Jared will get two exemption weeks in a row to prove his worth. With late registrations now being accepted, I don't know if there will be a need anymore to wait a second week to use the exemption.

I couldn't find criteria to stay up when playing on an exemption, do you stay up regardless of how you do?

Yep, found it. "While using a Sponsor's Exemption on the PGA, Euro, or Web.com Tours you finish in the top 70 of all participants and are the top finisher of Exemption participants"

Rounds of 65, 65, 63, 66. Par 5 holes and par 3 holes went fine. The par 4 holes though, I was just a little too much off, giving me longish puts that were almost in (and too many bogeys). Still, two cuts made in first two which is great for me. Look forward to a challenging Oktoberfest GC.

First foray in the web this week,up on exemption from a limited field in CC-A last week.Finished -28 (good enough for T32 at the moment). Although i left a bunch out there on the greens.(didn't everyone?) Kept it down to 2 bogies in total, one of those when I got stuck on the hill of death on 15. Managed to get up and down twice, with no apparent shot from the cabbage to the right of the par 3 9th.
Arrived on the tee in the final round to be paired with Messrs McCabe and Garrity,(thinking I hope I don't show myself up against the "Big boys"). But will take my 63 against a pair of 61's any day of the week.
Not good enough to stay up this time, but will be pushing hard for another crack at the web in the coming weeks!!!

Well done Jared. You're a true stud. I wonder how many more times we'll see your name on the trophies this season in the Web. Probably not many. You'll cash an exemption eventually.
For myself.. T14.. I'll take it. I remember playing the final round and had mrkuo and one of the other 10th place finishers as ghost balls. I was tied with them going into 18. Then I sliced my drive a little too much and ended up with par while they birdied. I could have joined them with a Top 10.
Fun tourney guys! Really liking this Web.com business. Playing against a consistent group of guys every week adds something to it, as opposed to the constant bouncing around of the CCs

Some great scores at the top this week. You guys are all so good. I squeaked out a top 10 this week thanks to solid rounds 2 and 3, sitting right amongst most of you guys. Hoping this week sees more improvement. Great shooting Jared, really well done!
