Let me be the 1st to welcome a new member of the Rookie Class of 2016.......Kenny Woolley Kenny! (Loud applause) Kenny has been moving up quickly through the lower tours and had a fantastic tournament finish on the Web to earn a sponsor exemption for this week, and played brilliantly (-9) through two rounds to make the cut and earn his 2016 Euro Card! Let's all welcome a terrific player to our tour!!! Good news is we have plenty of room in the deluxe motor home generously donated by gfoss1986 Gary Foster, and so it's off to Abu Dhabi. We haven't yet figured the logistics of driving there, but fortunately the coolers in the motor home are well stocked! Onward!

Thank you very much David I really appreciate the welcome. Glad to be here and really looking forward to the challenge of trying to compete with all the great players here on the Euro Tour. Don't suspect I'll ever compete with the elite players but so long as I keep on learning and improving I'll be happy. Not sure I'm happy about being driver but as I'm the rookie I guess I have no option right? Where's the keys Gary?

I've secured a private charter aboard a still in service British Air Concorde out of Heathrow, via Edinburgh and Miami to crossover and play the PGA Tour Waste Management Phoenix Open at The Tarantula Golf Club. After playing a practice round at Dinosaur Valley Golf Club, several Euro Tour members were greeted by not so playful Velociraptors. (This just in....Euro Tour has three openings to fill recently vacated spots...), So several of us are headed to greet the thousands of unruly drunk US fans that will engulf the course for this event. Soft lush greens await at Tarantula where birdies (instead of T-Rex) will be abound. Anyone interested, please meet at the Airport Friday afternoon and bring beer!

Unusual week. I shot -22 on the Euro tour and -22 on the TST. So so week in one, and a pretty good week in the other. That's golf.

I think i joined the same time as you gavlaar124 - Promoted from the Web.com tour and will be looking to make the cut before i start finding my feet. Are all the European Tour course setup's as firm and fast as Muirfield and Birkdale? I noticed Spectacle Island is also going to be a bounce it 10 yards before the green affair.

Or is there certain criteria that needs to be filled to enable us to switch tours like that?
