Admin has asked folks not to name their practice tours anything like tgctours to avoid confusion.
I name mine TGC PRACTICE-(course name) so if name does matter it is moot anyway.

I would like to consider the following:
A person who made the top 125 for the first Fed Ex Tournament, but decided not to play without a good reason AND is still in the top 100 after, probably shouldn't be allowed to play in the next tourney. Give that spot to someone who wants to play and will play.
/Suggestion over.

I agree, so long as the spot is filled by someone who has played in the Barclays otherwise would defeat the object of narrowing the field over 4 events

I have to, not likely to make the next tourney otherwise...

There are several players on the Fed Ex Cup points list who have a red dot by their names. I'm not sure what that means.

I'm in at -34, -11, -9, 8, -6, though I did birdie the last 3 on 4th round (i think). Not sure if i birdied 15th or not. Loved the course, thought it was firm but fair. Finally adapted to the ps4 swing, though I still hate it! found a technique involving staring at the controller, so I dont actually get to see my character hit the shots, which is pretty annoying! No idea how it will finish but hopefully somewhere near the top.

While I find what you are trying to do is to make a competitive end to the season and rewarding active members, I think that if the staff decides to remove anyone, it should be only those who cross the threshold of active to inactive (Red Dot), then they are taken out and the first one who missed out (#101) moves up (to #100). To me, this remains consistent with the rules in place for inactivity. Keep in mind I have the most to gain by what you are proposing, but I just think it's a bit too far and the rules already in place may knock a handful per week. Pushing up the first ones out in this case I would be okay with.

People with enough points have earned the right to sit out the first event. Tiger used to do it and still win the cup. Granted it makes more sense to do this in real life and spare yourself the travel and fatigue, but it is the prerogative of the players who have earned the requisite points.

I don't think the intent of the OP was for the top end players, but those sitting in 80 or 90-something place that squeak in while not playing. I agree with you to a point, but I agree a little bit with Mr. Duncan's OP. Enforcing the existing Inactive policy after each round seems like a fair compromise, but I would not care in the least if they do nothing and do as you say, blackaces. I put up my effort to advance, and I hope it makes it, but if not, then I did what I could.

67-69-69-65. Didn't play a practice round as I had zero expectation of getting in, until this afternoon. 1st round I played better than I expected with never seeing the course, but I left a lot out there in the 2nd and 3rd, with winds down a bit. I probably gained a few shots with the last round, which was really tough. My only concern is if -8 makes the cut...I think it will, but probably not by much. For the Web.com tour that we came from, I am rooting for you. I think you will make it in! You finished strong in R4 and I faded. We finished within 4 shots of each other. Good luck advancing. We will be getting a slew of our familiar Web faces come season two!

I'm pretty surprised that we had 21 WDs in the playoffs. Hopefully next week there will be far less dead wood.
