Hope -9 makes it...my third round was pretty solid and I would jump a lot of people probably. Haven't played my fourth round yet, but saw that fun 16mph wind on the tee

I've been looking forward to the playoffs starting for a while and then I just throw up all over myself round one.
So deflating, and saps much of the fun out of the other 3 rounds.

Really gave up quite a few shots with a 69 in that round and 3rd. Played much better with 65 in last round and know that should make up quite a few shots on the field, but have to get there first.

Nice last round. I played well too with a final round 64. Tough out there

Shot a 66 1st rd. Wind was bare able. Blowing in good directions anyway. I was like 3 under at the turn bogeyed 11 or 12 the birdied 4 or 5 in a row b4 over playing the wind on 17 and putting my drive in the big drink. Bogeyed hole then birdied 18. 2nd round 64.Birdied 1 then bogeyed 2 and 3.Fought my way back to even then rode the roller coaster back nine. Either birdied or bogeyed all but one hole. I use to play pretty conservative and be ok with par. But my distance control with the putter has been shakey since about the PGA CHAMPIONSHIP. Went from 1 or 2 bogeys a tournament up to like 5 or 6.Really need that feel back in the putter. After having 5 bogeys thru 2 rds I guess I should be happy at - 14. Just need a little more consistency out of my putter. I'd say I left a few out there but has anyone ever played a rd of golf and got them all?? Good luck to all. Going to the putting clinic b4 last 2 rds, lol

Wow.. what a roller coaster ride. PLayed round one and just couldn't putt. I played some nice shots, bogey free round but could only manage a -5, which included an amazing huge breaking putt from the upper tier on hole 3.
Round 2 was a bit better. I made some good putts, but had some weird things happen. Had a 55 pitch hit the pin just above the hole and bounce back like 40 feet. Barely saved par. I threw away some opportunities but was happy with my -9. I think -14 will make the cut.
Round 3 was more weird things. I had a ball skip in front of the green as if it hit a rake or something and bounce sideways into the water. I couldn't get anything going until hole 14 where I eagled from the fairway. Still could only manage a -4.
Then game Round 4. The high winds were fun but even then I was -3 after 5 and feeling good. Then I hit into the water on 6 with a shot that I still have no idea how, the math didn't add up. Okay I saved bogey. Number 7. Once again, from the fairway 120 into a 15 mph wind my 158 6 iron fell way short into the water, some 20 yards short. Okay.. It drops me some 96 yards back in the middle of trees in the rough far left of the hole. I had never even gone through this area and my only other option was to drop some 210 yards back in the fairway, and even then I'd have to make a huge draw. So i took the 96 yard shot. Hit a tree. Water. I now get placed literally in a grove of trees, that have a sliver of fairway but I'm now 163 yards out. WTF? I went from 96 yards out to 163?? This game is @!$#ed up I'm thinking. They really need to figure out the dropping rules. Others get to drop on the green. Anyway, I chip out to the fairway, put it on the green and make a 30+ foot put for quadruple bogey. At this point I really don't care. Finished the round at +1.
This course was a good course. I really did enjoy it but I never could get the feeling I could master it. Putting was always a little off and my chipping really saved my butt on several occasions. I was satisfied with my first two rounds, disappointed in round three and disgusted at the game screwing me multiple times to the point I didn't care.
I believe I'll still have enough Fed ex points to advance to the next round and i'll be making a tour soon called TGC Practice-Deutsche. I'll be making 2nd tour hopefully at the same time when Doyley creates it on Saturday 12:01 am so the winds should be exactly the same.
Good luck all -17 meh.

Is there really that many people who have not played round 1 and /or holding back their first round scores? It's like half the field it seems lol

I'm hoping they don't post! No doubt! Seems that some are thinking a cut line of -10 or better. If that's the case, I'll need all the help I can get!

Looks like my -30 is going to turn out a lot better than I expected.

Hmm, were some of the people in the field only semi-active? What I mean is they played recently, but maybe not in the last couple of weeks? I am sure some are waiting to see scores, but this does seem a little low in terms of scores posted. As of now (Wed 7ish A.M. Central U.S. time) I see 70 players with two rounds in, 9 players with one round in, and that leaves 46 players "yet to tee off".

I'll be making 2nd tour hopefully at the same time when Doyley creates it on Saturday 12:01 am so the winds should be exactly the same. ummm, not sure how I feel about this. Allowing people to practice on the exact same winds and memorize the shots is unrealistic and creates a competitive advantage. I know that anyone can do this, but it seems a little hokey to me.
