I figured I wouldn't finish all that highly when I saw I lost by 10 shots on the ps4, but I've only seen 1 other guy beat -36 so far. Top 10 hopefully?

Yeah I think that will be a top 10. I struggled for my 2 middle rounds. Ended up -28..... Went -11,-3,-3,-11.... Story of my life really. Ha

2nd week in a row I've been easily top 10 at halfway and will end up outside. Little bit annoying

I played my round 3 and 4 and after making eagle on #2 it quickly turned into a comedy of putting. I had 9 first putts that either barely hit the edge of the lip and changed direction but didn't go in or (my favourite on a breaking putt) get right up the edge on the left and roll completely across the front lip (even changing direction on one of them) and stay out under 1 inch.
For some reason I was able to bomb in a 34 and 42 foot birdie but give me a 8 foot lightly breaking putt, it lips out or stops right at the edge. Pitiful performance on my part. If i added up all the putts that either stopped at the edge or just barely changed direction I left over 15 shots on the course. My saving grace was eagling #2 in round 3 and four (with a nice flop in) and nearly making a hole in one on #17 in round two after hitting the front of the green with a perfect 5 wood. It rolled up and just missed by an inch or so to end 2 feet away.
-27 isn't going to do much, but I think I will at least make the cut.
It was a fun course I just woefully underperformed in the putting department.
GL all.

I'm so totally in the same boat this week... I really have a lot of good strokes, but I just can not get an decent result into the clubhouse, just because of putting like a newbie. The course is really great, even in mid-high wind conditions. Great job by the designer. I know a few guys still haven't teed off yet, but my guess for the cut is still -11 or -12.

So far, of all the majors and wgc events, this one has been the most fun for me...
The course was excellent... Very tough in windy conditions and great course management get's you great results.. Potentially a candidate for course of the year IMO..
I didn't play as well as I know I can and will be very happy to hold on to a top 20..
Well done to all the leaders.. some great playing out there

Ooft! Halfway leader! I'll have to keep nailing those approaches and sinking those putts to reign supreme. I haven't played rounds 3 or 4 yet so it'll be interesting to see if I can handle the pressure.

-14 is safe cut is looking like it may be -13. Sum1 was worried about missing at -14, you are good. Even if every1 yet to tee off & those that shot low enough 1st rounds went lower -14 will still be inside top 70.
I shot a -11 1st round and was happy with that. Had to make it hard on myself my 2nd round sitting at just -2 on 17 1 shot outta the cut line knowing 18 was playing par. Missed the green to right in lite rough, chipped in for birdie to make the cut and finish -14 thru 2rnds.
Just wanna finish up solid. Gl to wkend plyrs.

Total fizzle. Came out blazing with a rd1 60. Followed that up with a 69 while struggling with percentage drops. Third round just didn't play well so no excuses there.
Round 4 I came out blazing, with birdies in the first 5 holes. The remaining 13 I played at 1 over with 12 pars and a bogey and a heap more of percentage drops.
So disappointing.

I honestly think someone will hit -50. I should have done exactly that Tim. I finished -40 in the end after rounds of 59,62,64,63 I played rounds 1 and 2 and decided to quit and play the next day. I was playing very well but thought that if I played 4 straight rounds I would start to make mental mistakes, so I decided to wait till the next day to finish. This was a huge mistake. I was playing very well and probably would have got near to -50 if I'd have carried on playing? I started up again this morning and it was the polar opposite of what happened the night before. Rounds one and two I was hitting my shots into mostly great positions, where putts were easy to read and I made a few of them. Especially in round one. The last two rounds, I just kept leaving my ball in awkward spots. Nearly every putt that I left myself seemed to be a difficult one, just the wrong side of a slope. I even putted one off the green when I had an eagle putt and finished the tournament with a missed 6 footer on the 72nd hole. I missed from 5 feet twice on the first hole this week too! I should have at least matched Ian at -46, but it wasn't to be. Congratulations on your great play again this week Ian, your probably the player in the best form on any tour right now. Good luck with your final standing. Good luck to anyone left to play too. I know that David Nicol is sitting with a hot hand after two rounds and has a chance, so good luck to you as well. Kudos to the designer on a very well made recreation of Whistling Straits.

-13 will be safe without a doubt. Need 8 to overtake. 8 left to start and only 3 who have played 1 round who COULD also overtake. Even if all rounds are played you need 9/11 to do enough to knock us out and that isn't going to happen
