Just looking to play for some money this week. I've completed 2 rounds at 60 and 69 (damned low power hiccups all over the place). 15 under so far. My first 2 rounds had no problems with 100%, but the 3rd round I had a lot of less than 100% shots. I played pretty decently, but those "low power hiccups" suck.

Yep, "low power hiccups" killing me last 2 weeks. But...
I did start out on round one 8 under after 11 holes then pared out 12-18, hiccups just got the best of me the rest of the tourney and will be lucky to make cut at -13.
I have seen some really low rounds coming from PS4 users, how in the world are you guys doing that with the current state of the PS4 controller issues??? I personally spend sooo much energy just trying to get % right it totally just throws my whole game off. Especially after you come up short at 94% and end up in a ditch and pick up a double bogey. And in these winds, it is even worse if you don't get % right. How do PS4 guys shoot so low with these kinds of conditions: % problems plus high winds plus very tough slopped greens?
Hopefully HB PS4 patch for the patch will be out before next tourney. This is no fun at all for me. Thought the course was awesome but I couldn't enjoy it.

I play PS4 and never have any less than 100% issues as I have adapted to the new swing. Swing completely different to how I used to and it works and iv adapted to it. It's there for anyone to be able to do

Are you possibly playing on a really high-res TV? I had been having really bad problems when playing on my brand new Samsung TV. I moved my ps4 to the bedroom on a older, smaller flat screen and am hitting it like I used to. Note* I still get the under 100% swing from time to time, but I usually know right away because it was a lazier swing.

I play PS4 and never have any less than 100% issues as I have adapted to the new swing. Swing completely different to how I used to and it works and iv adapted to it. It's there for anyone to be able to do Please do share your adapted swing because I have tried them all and the only one that produces 100% the most consistent is a slight pause at top with a slam forward swing. IT is this slamming that is killing any chances for me to compete at the level I have been. Most have suggested the quick back flick forward and sometimes that works for me, then all of a sudden I start getting 94% shots. So I go back to pause at top and slam the stick. This creates the highest % of 100% shots, around 85% of the time. But then my touch is gone and I just get worn down and the mistakes and low % shots starts creeping in more and more. Just soooo frustrating. So for real, not being sarcastic, please share your swing. The best play this Tour and usually post in this thread every week. So that is why I am asking the question. I am getting desperate! But I have to ask, are you using a PS4 controller? I have read where some have used an Xbox One controller on PS4 and it works better. I only use a PS4 controller and if this next patch doesn't make thing better I am in big trouble.

I hold the controller in my left hand (I am right handed) no part of my right hand supports the underneath of the controller. I have my thumb at the bottom of the analog stick, and my first 2 fingers at the top. I hold the controller so I can look at it and the TV at the same time. I pull back and push forward at a good pace but not hard. I do not pause for more than a micro second at the top of backswing. I find it helps to click in R3 after each swing. Might just be a mental thing for that...

Might just be a mental thing for that... So you swing with right stick and use your first two fingers to swing with? I suppose your thumb at bottom helps with push too? But regardless of what fingers or which stick, sounds like your pace would result with 80% shots on my controller. Maybe I need to test out using the right stick instead. You think maybe the right stick has been less effected by the change? I have tried all kinds of pauses, tempos, etc etc etc, and unless I slam, I won't get 100% more than 20% of the time. So the only thing you are doing differently than what I have tried is you are using right stick. Ill go give it a try just for % reasons but I can't use my right stick to swing with for accuracy. Been swinging left stick way too long in my life. Tx for sharing!

I really don't know why I swing fine on my older TV, but it's been that way for a couple of weeks now. When I need to play in a tournament, I move the PS4 to the bedroom just to play it because it's such a difference. lol

I've been swinging deliberately slower in practice rounds to get a feel for what it takes to get less than 100, and I actually can't do it. I've come through as slow as I can physically manage and it's still 100% as long as there is a perceptible pause at the top of the backswing.
Every time I get less than 100 it is a timing issue, I push forward very slightly too early.
You absolutely, unequivocally, do not need to slam the stick forward to get 100%.

When I need to play in a tournament, I move the PS4 to the bedroom just to play it because it's such a difference. lol I used to do that with my old xbox 360, more specifically when playing FPS games like Call of Duty, when I bought a new 47" LG 1080p HDTV a few years ago I kept feeling like I was getting a split second lag when playing on my new TV even though I was on the same internet and everything. I would put my xbox back on my older, smaller 32" 720p LG flatscreen and poof no more lag feeling. It drove me nuts and I couldn't figure it out for the longest time. Had a nice, new, beautiful TV sitting there that I couldn't play games on lol. Finally did some research and found out that it was due to "input lag" on some of the newer higher end TV's, something about the TV's up-scaling the resolution of the game or something(I'm not a big TV/AV tech guy so I'm not totally sure lol). Apparently, some TV's experienced it worse than others. TV manufacturers just said to put the TV in "Game Mode" to help but it really never helped at all. Anyways, I found out if I connected my xbox360 through the VGA adapter I could pick a more accurate resolution on my xbox system that matched the TV and it actually fixed the lag. I know, long side story, but the point is that maybe playing on an older/smaller TV isn't as crazy as it sounds. I would think they would have fixed that issue by now with the new systems and TV technologies but maybe not. I wonder if that tiny "input lag" still exists and causes some of these swing power problems for people with certain TV's and not for others? I would hope not, but who knows. I've never heard it brought up before but just a thought.

I think it's definitely still an issue because I've even noticed it on other large and new TV's with games like FIFA 15 and 2K. I'll have to see if putting it in game mode changes anything. Thanks for that advice.
