This subject - which, ahem, got off topic lol - has led me to want to actually test these theories. I turned off the 120 mhz upscaling (same as turning on "game mode") on my tv right after I bought it because it would make all FPS games unplayable with input lag (and make all movies and television shows look like soap operas). Something tells me this could certainly be a problem. I will turn on the upscaling - even though I'm on Xbox - and test my swing since I've never seen problems before. Something tells me I'll see some kind of difference.

Yep, that's exactly what was explained to me as well. I think it's definitely still an issue because I've even noticed it on other large and new TV's with games like FIFA 15 and 2K. I'll have to see if putting it in game mode changes anything. Thanks for that advice. Plasma or LCD? FWIW my newest TV is a Plasma and I've had no problems gaming on it. My LG that I have problems with is a LCD/LED. I had heard plasma's don't have near as much issue with this as LCD/LED's, partly why I chose a plasma for my main gaming TV now lol. EDIT: Sorry for derailing this thread haha! My bad.

Okay, let me be spoiler here: Could we move that (stale) discussion about %-issues - no matter if they might exist or not - out of the thread about the PGA Championship? Seriously! Thanks!

Im just baffled by the 1st round scoring. I battled pretty hard - as did my partners playing - for a 63. I thought it was good just seen nearly everyone else is 14.15 under lol.

14 under is not fitting for a major championship.
Broken record used to beat the dead horse - I know. But it's true.

I worry with that level of golf ill be on the web.com tour before long I know where you're coming from. I was delighted with a 63 too, really thought I would be up there. I'm worrying about the cut now as I could only add a 68!

Rnd 1: -12 Rnd 2: -6 Rnd 3: -8 Rnd 4: -8
Total: -34
My 1st bogey free tourny of which im pleased with. That said, the random in this game is infuriating. The amount of ball squirts and inconsistency of the wind effect is ruining my enjoyment of the game at the minute.

Rough start to the PGA. Never got it really going first round and finished 6 shots back of my best at -9. Second round started with a 6 foot putt for birdie that for some reason I decided for some unknown reason to hit it like it was 40 feet and which resulted in a doubled bogey. Managed to finish off with a -7 but with that double and a very silly bogey on a par five, which I again putted a short putt like it was a mile away, could have had a -10.
Meh.

Disappointing Rd2 for me here: Finished with a 67 (-5), which could also have been around -8 to -10. Once again, my putter was cold as ice and I had a lot of putts that only missed by inches. But I'm fine with that, because this is something that can always happen. But what really pissed me of that round was that I had two flop shots on that round (one on the Par5 #5; don't remember the second one) that hit the flagstick and instead of falling into the hole, the ball bounced back like crazy leaving me with an 70ft putt on one hole, and a 42y pitch on the other one. That sucks! Need some low shooting in Rd3 and Rd4...
