If you haven't played round four yet, you'd better pack your night vision glasses. Can't see jack....

If you haven't played round four yet, you'd better pack your night vision glasses. Can't see jack.... have you checked your gamma or brightness levels on your tv/monitor, some come darker than others out of the box. course is set to morning time, but most can see fine with amount of daylight. but ya, there are some shadows some of the greens. the last course i released, i put out two identical versions, one morning (like round 4), and the other afternoon, ppl prefer the morning version better as it has 3x the plays. there used to be one guy on the HB forums, if the sun was not set at 12noon (brightest) he complained about courses being too dark time and time again, we kept suggesting to him to check his monitor/tv settings, but he was stubborn i guess.

It was difficult at times to see during rnd 4, but it was my favorite round due to some of the incredible camera shots. It's my favorite time to play golf IRL, so really enjoyed that round.
Got to tell you taste, I think this may be my favorite course in the game. Can lean towards being a bit easy depending on conditions, but imo a true masterpiece! Lots of risk/reward shots out there.

Its been a real challenge trying to adapt to the different conditions each round with round 3 (not played round 4 yet) being the most difficult thus far.

Fairly happy with my first three rounds - but a weak 4th will set me back.
Like the set up very much - proper tour set up. Maybe a bit too easy. This course shines after the wind fix as well - with the risk reward structure being the same for all.
Maybe tastes best work together with redwood elite and that US open course?

I enjoyed it a lot, made you think and appreciated the variety. Firm and fast has it's place for sure, but 4 rounds of it can wear me down to be honest, so I liked that this set up had some respite from 4 rounds of F&F. That said, while I appreciated the rainy conditions in round 1 and the overall course adjustments to reflect it, I did feel the green speeds in R1 were just a hair too slow (purely personal preference). Think something in the 120 speed range instead of 101 might have played a bit better and still captured the 'transition of conditions'. But that's admittedly a minor quibble, and really more reflective of the rain effect. HBs rain effects to me look very minor, like a very light rain... so the green speeds seemed disproportionately slow. If the rain effect was really belting down, and there were pools of casual water, then it would have 'matched' better. (again, solely in my view... largely just a perception issue)
Overall I had a lot of fun playing the course.

Just finished round 4, thought the lighting looked great... didn't find it too dark at all. Greatly appreciated how different each round looked and felt. (and played)

Round 1 - It took me 10 holes to realise the greens were slow, and it wasn't the rain. Didn't help that I was a bit p1st, so played 12 or so holes and was 2 over. Returned sober and completed the first round at -3 (just smashed the putts opposed to lagging them) and managed to play pretty good (should of eagled 1st hole and the 1st par 5), bogeyed the 16th GrrRrRR and finished with -8 for round two.
Round 1 ~ 69 Round 2 ~ 64 -11 hope that's enough to make the cut. GL all.

I had 3 good rounds here and a terrible 4th. Had some trouble getting used to ultra slow greens in round 1 followed by fast in 3 and 4. The lighting was a touch dark in some places during that 4th round, but nothing major and it didn't contribute to my bad round.
I'm not sure if it was because of the wind or what, but I felt that many holes it was hit a driver, then a pitch shot over and over again. Lots of opportunities to go low here, but I didn't of course!
A unique setup that was a nice change of pace.

It is bit short - but well balanced by small landing areas on the pitch shots and some decent slopes on those holes. Overall very good use of strategic fairways off the tee with several options.

Wow, where is all the peeps? Surely we don't have that many peeps playing in the invitational to not even have 70 players...
More money for me

Yeah - euro tour has been low lately.
I wish there would be a system to fill the field from the web.com tour as I'm sure there are plenty of webers that want to play for a spot on the euro/pga....

I've had you as my ghost ball for this tournament McBogga. Matched each other almost shot for shot through the 3 rounds I've played so far.
