I will probably make the cut but my scores couldn't be any further from how I practiced. -15 after 2 rounds. 3rd round was garbage. Didn't even finish the 4th round. 3 words describe my post. Time. Aggravation. Rules. I will bet my house, my truck, my xb1, or anything that everyone sitting in the top 10 on the leaderboard didn't see a hint of 14mph winds in this tourney. They more than likely didn't see these winds because they were patient and had time to wait for more favorable winds. For myself, I played rounds 1, 3, and 4 with 12-14mph winds. I played in these winds and I didn't have a snow balls chance in hell of posting any score that would even come close to being considered a competive round. You know why I did? Time and not having the luxury to check on the winds every hour. The previous situation leads to aggravation. Now I know I'm not burning down courses like some of the golfers we have in our community but I would consider myself a top tiered player on my system. I find myself holding many top 5 best scores on many different courses on xb1. Complete aggravation sets in when I know that I'm having to play in ridiculous winds due to time constraints. Shot -13 earlier last week in round 1 practice. I just posted a -5 in the tourney. Summing this rant up with rules. I would personally like to compete in a box with the smallest amount of tolerance possible. An even playing field if you will. I think of auto racing when I think of rules. .0000s of an inch or mm. Right now we do not have an even playing field in our world of golf. And I'm pissed about it. Tbh the third one shouldn't be rules it should be waiting for the wind fix. The rules are as fair as they can be with the game that we have With regards to the wind complaint, I think the stock reply of just wait for the update is neccessary! Nothing you I or anyone can do until then! I think you just needed a rant? And I want to be clear that I am not blaming anyone of cheating. I am not saying tgct is doing anything wrong. All I am saying is that the situations with wind in these tournaments has come to a head for me. I am ultra competitive and I'd rather walk away than pull my hair out or break my $70 controller over some BS

Lots of players take advantage of the exploit. That is the biggest reason I'm not a part of tgctours. I agree it ruins the whole experience.

Was in a great place after 2 rounds at -24. Threw up a stinker of a 65 in round 3 and grinder a 69 in the 4th round. This is Canuck's best looking and best playing course other than the greens. They're just way too sloped to hold 4 pin locations, and it gets tiresome to aim 5 feet left for 5 foot putts so much. But a lot of times people aren't building greens to have 4 locations so it's tough to get them in there. I actually had no problem with the green firmness for the most part. Sure, there were a couple holes where you couldn't really land it and stop it, but almost all of them were accessible because greens sloped from back to front and you had a lot of wedges. So, I thought that setup was actually perfect had the greens just been flattened just a bit. But he already knows that. Speaking on that, I actually liked that firmness with the wedges in, it can make for a fun round. Me and mcbooga have been advocating for smaller greens and more tucked pins to drop scores. Hopefully we can see that. I had a good time playing the tourney, but it's probably one where you're better off being patient when playing your rounds, unfortunately I'm in the mountains for vacation this week and had to squeeze all four rounds in to 2 hours when I had some wifi at a bud's house. Good luck to all. I'm hoping -34 is close to top 15 or so, but this is two tournaments in a row where I came flying out of the gates in the top 5 or so and then got inpatient and stunk up the end. Winds were 7-11 first two rounds. 13-16 in the 3rd round. And 1-4 in the last. I'm not sure if the extremely low winds in the last hurt or helped lol. Good luck to all!

My first round was in 11-14mph winds. Rounds 2-3 both were 7mph winds on average. I wouldn't just assume good scores= low winds. I've seen these top10 guys play enough to know they are just excellent in any conditions.

Round 4, hole 6 is where I took my 9 after being about 20 ft away for birdie put. Would Finished -1 from there, but I was -3 before that hole. Was just a nightmare of a situation. Couldn't be above the hole and wouldn't stick below it. Looking forward to seeing which hole was the toughest or should I say, craziest.

In real golf there are soooo many more variables. Doesn't matter if I'm 6'5" tall and weigh 230 pounds and you're 5'5" tall and weigh 110 pounds. We both sit and hold a controller. So yeah I think my rant is legitimate. The only variable on this game is the wind is it not? I would love to have the time to wait for ideal wind but I don't. Remember I am not blaming anyone but HB. So feel my frustration and just agree with me!

Fully agree on the wind waiting. But its not the wind being different - its the possibility to wait it out that irks me... Would not mind it if it was random.

We keep talking about wind waiting and it is really a moot point. HB will fix it eventually and in the mean time we carry on the same way we did for the first 1/2 of the season.

Round 1 and 2 had pretty good winds. 3 and 4 had double digit winds. I started round 4 with 14 MPH winds. They did calm down a little as the round progressed, but stayed in double digits. Shot -6. Round 3 was a disaster. I think I three or 4 putted 18 for even par. Winds were up the whole round.
R1 -11 R2 -7 R3 even R4 -6
-24 total.

Winds were good to start 5-8mph. Managed a -13. Round 2 winds jumped up to 10mph and I missed two or three 3 footers for birdie on those severely sloped greens. Wow -10 Round 3 winds 4-8mph, missed a couple chances but happy with -12. Started round four and actually birdied the first!! Then had to chip in for a par, then bogey. Decided to take a break.
-35 through 3 ish.

Sorry about the rant yesterday all. I realize we're all dealing with the wind and I know everyone knows the circumstances. I also understand that HB should be re-implementing the wind this Friday.
Just had steam coming out of my ears and my hair was on fire after having to play in the higher winds.
Still grumbling under my breath today but whatever.
Nice round Dale
