I've seen a common pattern throughout this entire season. Anytime someone posts a good score and then says others will shoot better - they always finish well. So I predict Smurf is in the top-5 by the end of the week I think winning score is low-40's. Yeah it's called the humblebrag: hum·ble·brag ˈhəmbəlbraɡ/ verb gerund or present participle: humblebragging make an ostensibly modest or self-deprecating statement with the actual intention of drawing attention to something of which one is proud. haha but on serious note agree with you. That always is the trend. Modesty isn't a bad thing anyway.

Just dropped a -42 through 3 rounds, which included a 54 on round2! Feeling pretty good. Going to wait to see the scores before playing my 4th round. I'll at least be playing for a potential win. Stay away thoughts of DJ. Well now - that's just crazy! Great shooting - hope you tame the R4 for your first win - or a runner up position if you let me squeak by!

I finished with -35. Had a good -8 round on the last day but I lost it in the second round. I had 6 95% that cost me at least 6 shots. I didn't know an update was coming out for Xbox or I would have waited to play all rounds. I played the last 2 rounds and no 95% which was very pleasing. As far as the course goes I thought it was great. Canuck you did a great job on the final round with the pins, there were not any complaints from me. As long as you do your homework and try to stay below the hole on the greens then you're good. After playing Harbour Pointe there aren't any greens or pin positions that can be too bad in my opinion.

Just sigh and move on On a side note I hit 60-56-54-59 for a -59 but think that will be lucky if I get a top 10...

I just blow up in one round and can never get Top 10 finishes any more. The closest ive come is T11 at the Scottish Open (recently anyway)

I will probably make the cut but my scores couldn't be any further from how I practiced. -15 after 2 rounds. 3rd round was garbage. Didn't even finish the 4th round.
3 words describe my post. Time. Aggravation. Rules.
I will bet my house, my truck, my xb1, or anything that everyone sitting in the top 10 on the leaderboard didn't see a hint of 14mph winds in this tourney. They more than likely didn't see these winds because they were patient and had time to wait for more favorable winds. For myself, I played rounds 1, 3, and 4 with 12-14mph winds. I played in these winds and I didn't have a snow balls chance in hell of posting any score that would even come close to being considered a competive round. You know why I did? Time and not having the luxury to check on the winds every hour.
The previous situation leads to aggravation. Now I know I'm not burning down courses like some of the golfers we have in our community but I would consider myself a top tiered player on my system. I find myself holding many top 5 best scores on many different courses on xb1. Complete aggravation sets in when I know that I'm having to play in ridiculous winds due to time constraints. Shot -13 earlier last week in round 1 practice. I just posted a -5 in the tourney.
Summing this rant up with rules. I would personally like to compete in a box with the smallest amount of tolerance possible. An even playing field if you will. I think of auto racing when I think of rules. .0000s of an inch or mm. Right now we do not have an even playing field in our world of golf. And I'm pissed about it.

The rules are as fair as they can be with the game that we have With regards to the wind complaint, I think the stock reply of just wait for the update is neccessary! Nothing you I or anyone can do until then! I think you just needed a rant?

This is why I post constantly over on the HB forum about the tournament wind. It is without a doubt the #1 problem with the tournaments currently, and IMO it completely eclipses any other concerns about the game. I actually don't know why more people aren't more upset and vocal about it. Especially when they already had an entirely workable solution, and pulled it after a week. They then say it will drop when both consoles are updated, and that proves to be 100% false. Now I guess we're supposed to be happy that HB "hopes" to release it this Friday.
It's one of the most frustrating things I've experienced with a video game.
