I see Yeltzman's name in the shout box so I think he has an account. Wish he would join and have fun with us as he's a super designer and a nice guy. I think Scruffy's convinced him not to partake in it. lol I don't know why he thinks TGCT is something bad. Makes no sense.

Go out and recruit him - not sure if he has any issues with us in general or not - I haven't really talked with him but enjoy all his courses. Maybe there's no beef and all we need to do is ask?

University Links designer here! I must say I expected a far worse response... For what it is worth I am in fact British \o/... and I know a good British links course having played several IRL (shot +1 gross on Princes which once hosted the British Open)... And... This isn't one, I am proud of it as a US links course and I feel for the community not getting a British links for this event. As far as the setup goes, I'd have loved to spend a weekend getting those pins spot on, as it was I stayed up late doing best I could in the time falling back on some great players to play test and filter out my crazy. Day 1 is possibly too tough for me but you should be able to get make able putts on most if you don't go at the pins... and some very good players assured me it does play fair Don't want to put a stop to the criticism, my initial US Open Contest offering needed work and my University Links course was a product of hard work and that feedback... So keep it coming it will only make me a better designer. Thanks all (especially the awesome TGCT guys) and enjoy the competition Your course i wonderful mate definately wpuld have been a worthy design winner for the us open if it had
