Okay, I don't think it's the flags. RBet2 has the new flags already and that is playable. I'm looking into what else it could be.

Nothing's ever easy, is it? Sounds like this is the can of worms that gets opened when PC stuff is released earlier than consoles and folks don't have access to it and are left in the cold.

Also just had a random thought more on the precedent level than anything else. Let's say the update hit on the Friday night before the open started. So it's the Highlands course for all, tournament is underway! But, what if highlands is laggy, or the course is laggy on ps4/xbox?
Just think it's a bit dangerous to starting committing to 'future courses' if those courses can't be playtested on all platforms in advance.

Ladies and Gents, we have a conundrum.......

Radical solution suggestion: - Postpone the Open until the patch drops
For a couple of reasons: - You can use the course you want to use - With the patch will also be tournament winds, and wind should factor in to the Open Championship
No, it won't line up with real life.
The alternative: - you go ahead with the open as scheduled... - use a course that you don't want to use - and yet another major is played where people can avoid less than ideal conditions if they so choose, or have the time to do so.

Hi guys, we're talking and trying to come up with a solution asap. The postpone suggestion is on the table as is finding a new course (old, pre-patched course).
Stand-by, will try and have this sorted by the end of the night.

Postponing the open is the best solution, we have the prefect course and will be able to use it in about two to three weeks, note hb-Keith on the official forum stated that the console update still hadn't been submitted.

I personally DO NOT want to postpone the Open. I love running the tournaments the same week as the real thing -- that's part of the reason we do what we do.

It wasn't available for me to play on PC. I thought PC had the required updates for Highlands theme. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks.

I liked the rbet2 course. It works on ps4 so if you guys can get 4 pins out for that I think it would be a great course for the tourney
