73 and 67 for the first two rounds. Quite pleased with those scores, as my best practice round was -2. Hope I can get into the weekend, can see some high scores for the first round, but thinking I should have been a bit lower for round 2 to be really comfortable. Good luck out there.

-15 heading into the weekend. Bogeyed 17 both rounds. I really hate that hole. I think the correct play may be to purposely miss the green on the approach and leave yourself an easy up and down. 50+ foot putts are my Achilles in this game (never get the speed right) and that's what you get if you land on the green. #17 ...... Granted no wind, but this is the correct play..... Use the signpost to the right of the tree as your 2nd shot approach "marker" & attempt to land the ball just before the green.... this will feed the ball down to pin high, leaving you a birdie putt or even an eagle if you get lucky... >>>>>>> Hope this helps.... Sam.

Thanks. Looks like you have to be very precise with your landing area. I'll be sure to aim there next 2 rounds.
Great course overall, and even the 17th is a good solid hole. I was just frustrated landing it right on the front right of the green and getting punished with 60 footers uphill and breaking severely. The top tours should have tough courses full of tough holes though.

Was +2 after 5 holes in round 1. 2 95% shots to the green and one terribly stupid drive on hole number 2 (did not expect that the tree on the left comes into play. 100 meter drive into the rough)meant 3 bogeys. Was sort of in a bad mood after these strokes and took a break. Today I finished round 1 with a total of 74. So I kept it together. In round 2 I head my best round on this course so far with a 64. Still, some missed putts (always too short on these medieum fast greens) and a par on the hole number 18 (although the drive lay perfectly for my 5-wood I moron mishit the shot into the rough. ) prevented a really great round. In round 3 I played -3. Again, too many missed putts. I just can not handle those greens, especially the uphill putts. Some holes are real fun to play others not (Hole 17 is definitely not a golf hole!). The combination hard surface an medium greens just does not serve me too well. But there is still one round to play and with -8 I am in a much better position than I expected after the training rounds and especially after the beginning of round 1.

Round 1 of course killed me. 17mph like it was supposed to be. Shot +4. Damn tree on hole 8 clipped my ball and I ended up in the drink. Ended up with a triple bogie there. Round 2, much better. Shot -8. Eagle on 18 capped it off. It's just amazing how high winds will mess with your game (and your head). Tried that shot on 17, aiming toward the sign post. Hit a fantastic shot however the ball did not cooperate and rolled 40 feet away. Tough hole. Par is good there.

Just my opinion, but firm is not fun. With the exception of links golf, I have never seen pro golfers IRL have to play short of the green to hold the green. Alas, people want difficult, so this is what we get. I prefer medium firmness with quick greens, but cant have that every week. Beautiful looking course, but the firmness is a turn off for me. -1 trying to hold on for the weekend

Drained a 50 foot bomb on the 72nd hole for an eagle to tie Sweeney for the PS4 lead in the clubhouse, -25.
Overall I'm very happy with my Euro Tour debut.

Round 1 Wet, Wet, Wet and 2 over. Round 2 happy with -8. Round 3 satisfied with -3. Round 4 was flying at -4 then doubled the infamous 17th to finish -3. -12 under for the tournament will hopefully see me climb a couple on the WGRs.
P.S. Thanks to admin for progressing my late registration, appreciated...

77-71 Round 1 – Anything even or better is a good effort in those winds and that was my target. Sadly I missed all my birdie chances (apart from 18) and failed to scramble par when I got into trouble. Missing fairways was the killer. Round 2 – Started well, -2 through 3 but missed a gimme at 4, then somehow bogied 5 (missed fairway) and it all kind of unravelled. Was doing -6 easily in practice just fell apart under tournament pressure. Very disappointing for my first week on PC. Still getting used to the 360 controller but pretty sure when I do I’ll reap the benefits – the game feels so much better than on the consoles. And hey, if you’re going to miss the cut….do it in style. See you all at Elmview! Hey Jacko. You do realize that you can use your DS4 controller on PC don't you? I have tried to use the 360 pad and it just feels wrong to me after playing on PS4 for so long.

Had developed a bit of a hook with the DS4 and am much straighter now. Oddly my problem shots in this event were chips/flops. Had two or 3 out of cone shots from the bunkers that cost me dearly (and it was poor judgment rather than poor execution that put me in the bunker in the irst place) Think i've got it sorted now though.

Had an average first round, but played well, a few silly mistakes and made a 74, played second round straight after and everything went in, came away with a 60 -12, which should be more than enough to make the cut.

Looks like the cut is gonna be over par. +1 should make it, maybe +2 or +3!

Do you think there are people that are perhaps not following the wind change stuff... and they keep logging in to play their first round and see 14-16mph winds, say 'screw it, I'll come back tomorrow'. But the wind doesn't change when they come back?
That just occurred to me looking at the leaderboard... that I wondered if people were unknowingly still trying to wind wait, not realizing it wasn't really going to gain them anything.
