Probably my best four rounds to date and I've been DQ'd for chipping on the green. I am fully aware of the rules and can't understand how this has happened. If you're playing on xbox you'll probably be up against me (ED68BOGUS) so if you notice can you let me know where this happened and see if it was genuine.
Gutted....

Couldn't you play a round against your own ghost balls to try to see what someone else saw? I would do one round with your round one and two ghosts, and then another with your round 3/4 ghosts (easier to keep track of). For a DQ, it had to have been multiple times, otherwise (as I understand it), it's only a 2 stroke penalty [don't quote me on that... just seem to remember it changing].
I remember a tournament just after the policy came in to affect. Had a ball on the fringe, but it was extremely close to the green, but it was definitely on the fringe (the game gave me a wedge). Was paranoid as heck due to the policy so I took screenshots and video of it, should it ever have come into question.

I've kindly been supplied with a video. To be honest the preferable shot was a putt so totally baffled. DQ's harsh, I gained nothing and there was nothing to gain. Gonna cost we in the rankings but most of all its my integrity that's most painful. You'll not see me in the club house for a few months...

I told Ed this and I'll tell the rest of the tour - this is a minor infraction with a severe penalty due to issues with us policing it. It's just much easier to DQ than to try and deal with adding penalty strokes in and around cuts etc. So while I know Ed is baffled around the circumstances of the chip - the video was provided and we had to rule on it. Real life players get penalties all the time - whether they are self-imposed or not - it's just part of the game and something that should be avoided if possible but it's definitely not the be-all-end-all to your TGC Tours career.
Ed accepted the DQ gracefully and he's got a clean slate moving forward.

Hey you are genuinely sorry it appears, or at a loss as to when\why you did it.
No need to stay away though

It's quiet in here this week, isn't it? However, I finished my tournament for this week: R1: 63 (-9) R2: 61 (-11) R3: 62 (-10) R4: 67 (-5)
Total: -35 I was absolutely happy with my performance until R4 started. The Hole-in-One on #17 in R2 was of course the highlight. In R4, I couldn't keep the pace unfortunately. A few small mistakes on my side, a couple of putts that didn't drop, things like that. You all know them. Well, that's the way the story goes...

Good shooting Edi. And yes it is very quiet lol.
I shot 62, 65, 64, 65 for a 32 under. Enjoyed the course. Weird thing was I birdied 5,6,7,8 in all four rounds... clearly liked that stretch

Shot -33, Disappointed because I shot a 69 in the 2nd round because I played some aggressive shots and went in the drink. The first round i was -6 through 5 and on the 6th the game decides to give me an 87% on a perfectly good full swing. Double bogey momentum killer. Couldve been in the -40s with out a few boneheaded mistakes and one or two more putts fun course

Not a fan of these posts in the fairway anymore, not a fan at all....
Otherwise the course is great. Had a really bad 3d round that will be costly on the leader-board.

What happens if the leaders tied all 4 rounds? I checked the rules and there's nothing in there. Is there 2 winners? Whatever is decided is fine by me.
