Not a fan of these posts in the fairway anymore, not a fan at all.... Otherwise the course is great. Had a really bad 3d round that will be costly on the leader-board.
Thank goodness some1 else has posted about the stakes/yd. markers in the fairway. Cpl weeks back I hit one twice and my ball flew back about 50 to 75yds and ended up in the heavy rough. During a practice round at Watercrest I rolled up right behind one it luckily kicked off to the side and didn't stay right behind the stake. Would hate to see someone in contention roll up right behind one and not know and nail it and finish with an 8 or worse on the hole. I really hope to see the OB and yd. markers moved out to the edge off the heavy rough. Yes in our real life rounds we can pick up and remove these outta our way, but don't have that option on TGC. Hopefully course designers and some TGC officials will see these post and start having ppl move em outta the fairway!!!

Yeah, I didn't know you could hit them when designing. I thought I went right through one before, so I thought it was ok. I don't put them there anymore. Chances of putting your ball right behind one is slim though.
