After putting up a -13 in practice for round 4... I go into the match feeling confident... only to post a -5 in very calm conditions... I choked big time..
Well done to James Gemmill. You put up a solid round mate and good luck for the semis and hopefully finals..
I'm rooting for you bud!

South bracket is complete up to R6. Congrats to Peter Hunt who is our first finalist. James Gemmill, don't forget you are in the 3rd place match and still must play R6. Good luck! Still a couple scores to come in on the north side.

thanks Doyley! never expected to get to the final, I think I have had a very lucky run with the wind! I have been informed that one of the potential finalists has already played his 6th round, which may rule out any kind of streaming. Anyway I am on ps4 so not sure if its even possible but I would be happy to stream my final round if I was given the technical knowledge to make it happen. I am no computer expert though.

Streaming is easy with the PS4. All you need to do is setup a twitch account at www.twitch.com. Once you do this, you hit the share button on your PS4 controller, and it will bring up a screen for you to broadcast your gameplay. Just link that screen to your twitch account and you are good to go.

If I scrape by Charles in the 4th round then I can stream my round on PS4 on Saturday for the 3/4 playoff spot against James. We could stream on twitch at the same time if thats something he'd want to do ,the lag may be awful between the 2 streams though. I think Charles will beat me in the 4th round anyway.

It is likely to be tomorrow night or saturday night. It would probably be between 11pm and 4am uk time, on either tomorrow or saturday night. After 4am on Sat (well sunday morning by then) I will be watching the fight of the century with some pals!

Had a win-or-lose 11-footer on 18 and watched it roll off the front lip ( a 3-putt par and a water ball at 11 didn't help either). Would have been me and you, Brix. ME AND YOU.

As the fly on the wall watching the events unfold some observations... I love the underdog and we've seen all the top seeds fall out, love it!!! (Commiserations to the top seeds!) Lots and lots of talk about "high winds" here among the Top 64 golfers in the world. So much so you would almost think the elite have never played a tournament before in windy conditions....errr, nah that couldn't possibly be the case. I am going to predict a Coates/Gemmill final with JimGem pulling off the "underdog" win as his statement that he is back to the form we all expected from Day 1. I hope we can watch it go down on Twitch as I expect it to be neck and neck to the final couple holes. Thanks for hosting TGCTours, hope to have a crack at it next season.

I watched Brionne and Shep play in 14-18mph winds and Brionne put up a -6 on round 3 which was very impressive. Shows me the elite sure can play with the winds. I had shot a -5 in the same winds which I thought was my tourney round, but due to a glitch it wasn't. Next time out Even. I'm not elite but I sure can't wait until we all have to play in similar conditions. The wind like that as much as it is frustrating really can help you especially if it is against you as the ball will often just stop on the green even with a 3iron.
